I'll let you know now that I visited Nagi last night bc I thought it was her or Nani that I was supposed to visit not Desi. But from the beginning Desi has felt scummy to me which is why I visited him the night before.Tokyo can you confirm whether Ash visited Desi?
If you need people, count me in. I promise to be nice to all the newcomers.
I'm here if you need people! We can just say I'm rusty it's been a while :')
Hey can I be grandma birb?
quick disclaimer I kinda copied this off the internet
If you need any more, count me in then :D
Ok in. Always said I'd join one.
Plz be nice, first mafia game in yearssss.
I'll join too!
I'd probably replace the mafia silencer with something else though, town has quite a bit of power here

Interesting way to start, but it did get the ball rolling[Vote] Radiating
There. Done. Ball has started rolling.
Would scum!Aaron be that interested in sparking conversation and getting things moving? Not sureNice OMGUS buddy, I merely was random voting to get the ball rolling and normally that goes in the direction of people dividing the vote. Seem a bit prickly........
What have you observed so far in this game? Perhaps your insight will shed some light on this here situation. c:
That first line is weird for town (or at least weird for town to say out loud), but it's like equally weird for scum to say (if you're scum why not just bring it up in the scum chat?) Kind of confused either way because I didn't pick up on any crumbs in any posts leading to this one, but maybe I'm just dumb :/My my, some of you are definitely making it very easy for me to pick my votes for the next 3-4 days. Crumbs. Unless someone kills them first.
Jolt is probably trying to drum up more conversation and get everyone involved and has taken a Stab In The Dark when it comes to his vote. However mate you're throwing out some bold claims, for sure. It is still Day 1 so let's wind it down a notch - if you're inno you're painting a very large DANGER sign on your head just saying!
One thing I noted here is that the only players she mentions (besides Gunner) ended up being inno/third party or are pretty much confirmed inno. Now I know that doesn't mean all that much, but I feel like this is kind of an easy post to make when the wagon is already rolling on a scummate, if that makes senseok so, first off, very sorry i've been neglecting to post - i guess i'm not as good at juggling 2 games at once as i thought, and already being heavily invested in the other one, it became easier to prioritize that. additionally, i've read through day 1 and 2 multiple times now, but couldn't really get any good reads... so i never really knew how to be helpful so much.
one thing that struck me as odd is Bardothren's excessive response to being ''silenced'' for a day... to be fair i'm aware he's a very vocal member and as such it could have been annoying for him to have to bite his tongue, but exactly for that reason doesn't it make sense for him to put on a show to convince us he's inno?
that's not to say Fletch is necessarily inno, but i understand his lack of enthusiasm atm, especially considering i myself am guilty of that. i'm worried about him claiming tracker now though, considering we only have one protective role, and both of these claims have come out now?
Superjolt is, as always, thoroughly analyzing, but in my experience this can also be negative for town as it is a very efficient way to paint our perceptions of all members :/ then again, i respect him not taking the easy route (until now at least) and blackening me based on my silence. Superjolt is not a scumread for me.
purplecicada and Sparkin honestly did not stand out to me as scum - yes they are new players, and they made some questionable posts perhaps, but i don't have any reason to suspect them. what was the Sparkin bandwagon even based on exactly?
for today i've noticed that the main vote is on Gunner, led by tokyodrift as he is the watcher and has presumably noticed that Gunner came to silence Superjolt. so as i have to vote today, i'll go along with that... hereby assuming tokyodrift's claim is legit.
[VOTE] Gunner
Not sure what to think here... I mean, those town reads are probably the easiest to make at that point (the two claimed tracking roles plus Sparkin). Would she be this willing to bus Desi here? Did she think a Desi-wagon was just unavoidable?problem is we have both tokyodrift and Fletch to preferably protect, and now with purplecicada being the vig? nobody is counterclaiming either so i'm inclined to believe their claims.
i fear this day is coming to a close, and i lost the first iteration to this post already, so this will be a quicky with my reads for the day:
town: Tokyodrift, Fletch, Sparkin. votes were definitely ready to go towards Sparkin before D3, so silencing one of their own on that day i don't think would do the mafia any good.
neutral: Nani, Home, Superjolt, Bard. some of these have made excellent points and seem to be proactively scumhunting, but other times i feel like they're just doing it for the sake of it, or to be able to agree with someone else. either way not convinced of guilt or town. sorry ?\_(?)_/?
scummy: Ash, Desi, purple. Ash to be fair seems to have been trying to be helpful, but for some reason i can't seem to remember any particularly valuable input from her. Desi to me is primarily suss because of the response to Home about their vote on Sparkin before - seemed sort of defensive, and i still feel like the bandwagon on Sparkin was a mafia attempt. purplecicada... i know she is new, and i probably was the same way starting out, but she's so afraid of offending anyone (i assume, unless it's a ploy) that she hasn't been helpful scumhunting at all. i'm also not convinced by her claiming vig because they could just target whoever she's supposed to vig-target as the mafia kill and claim the mafkill didn't go through.
so... *refresh*
i don't think it's a good idea to protect purplecicada. i'd rather they protected one of our confirmed innos, because their roles are more valuable to us than an extra kill would be. in the end however i believe it's much better to leave the decision who to protect up to the doctor themselves, and create a WIFOM that way - the mafia won't know which one to go for, rather than having them definitely kill (presumably) our watcher.
for today, i will go with the person who, to me, appears the scummiest, as i've mentioned above.
[VOTE] Desinishon
I initially liked this post since I was thinking Dolan would flip mafia at the time, but I don't think Nani should get much town cred for it after Dolan flipped third party. The part about Dolan feels sort of overexplainedHome doesn't seem to be any more experienced than purplecicada behavior-wise, but I do have to give him credit for trying to learn and think critically and scumhunt while being as green as he is. I'm still leaning neutral towards him, but overall he's just coming across to me as a new player who's taken a pretty active role. Nice job there Home.
Dolan on the other hand... she made a couple relevant posts, then kind of... decided to sheep. I get having to make an early vote because you won't be able to come back off the seat of your pants, but.... she just kinda made her vote based on how many votes there was on a single person. That's not a very good reason to vote for someone. Even a random "oh hey I can't post later so I'm gonna just roll a die and vote for so-and-such" vote is better than just piling on a bandwagon because someone else has a lot of votes. It comes off as kind of lazy and/or scummy and I can't say that's a good thing. The few posts she did make made her come off as green kind of like cicada and Home while at the same time being sort of laid back, which isn't really bad on its own but... lordy. If she is mafia she's being kind of obvious, and if she's villager she's... not doing so hot. I hope she can come back before the day ends and explain herself, but so far it's not looking good.
Now, since I'm going to bed in a couple hours I'm gonna go ahead and make my vote. Dolan's currently one of the more suspicious people here so I'll vote for her, but if something comes up that's more scummy I'll change my vote over if I see it before I go to sleep.
[Vote] SirDolan
No mention of Sparkin until this point, where does this vote come from? Does she agree with this wagon after only 2 votes? Why?Uh.... is it supposed to be this quiet? Where'd everybody go?
I was hoping more people would have posted by now since it's been a full day. I really wanted to hear from Superjolt but it's been a ghost town over here. I'll be putting up a vote for now but I really hope more people will show up and post.
[Vote] Sparkin
also sorry Radiating
Spoiler:Your wish is my command!
oh NOW the emotes work, that sure makes sense
Anywho, on Day 3 when I made my giant post full of reads, I had everyone in the following categories:
Town: Superjolt, tokyodrift, Bardothren, Home, Nightkrow
Neutral: Noraxia, Fletch
Slightly Scummy: purplecicada, Desinishon, Sparkin
Scummy: Gunner
When I originally made my post it was late at night before Nagi spoke up and things happened, and by the time I woke up the day was over so I didn't get to post it. Now I'm not going to do a direct copy-paste because my original post is kind of messy and difficult to read due to me making it kind of late in the night, so I'll make a basic summary of why people were in the categories they were in. Superjolt, Bardothren, and Nightkrow were in the Town list for similar reasons; the three of you together have been posting reads, trying to investigate things, and in general don't seem to be acting out of character to any big degree, at least to me. tokyo I assumed at the time was pretty much confirmed inno and as it turns out he is: Gunner was guilty as charged, and while I considered Home not as townie as the others due to him being new, he was still trying to observe and make reads to a lesser degree so he got to be in the town box as well. Nagi and Fletch were in the neutral box for different reasons; Nagi was there for not posting very much since being introduced into the game and Fletch was there due to acting a bit odd, but at the same time role claiming. I wasn't really sure what to make of him at that time so I just stuck him in there, and as for the Slightly Scummy box, purple, Goldy, and Sparkin at the time were there for similar reasons much like my Town reads were; they were.... I guess... lurking, kind of. They weren't really speculating all that much, were acting kind of quirky, and were just sort of going with the flow. Sparkin at that point also stood out a little due to him making such a big deal out of his reads, though at that point my brain kind of shut down a little due to lack of sleep and Gunner... well she was a bad little birdie with far too much duct tape on hand so she got put in her own little special box and sure enough, she was mafia.
Of course, after I made that post and went to sleep Nagi spoke up, gave her opinions, and things happened, so now a couple of those reads are out of date, plus my mental faculties weren't at 100% when I made the list. So... time for a new list!
Town: Superjolt, Bardothren, tokyodrift
Kinda Town: Home, Fletch, Nagi
Not really sure: Sparkin, purplecicada(?)
Kinda scummy: Desinishon
Everyone in Town pretty much stayed where they were as they're acting pretty much the same way (and tokyo has outright been confirmed at this point) except for Home, who gets moved down a slot. Home wasn't really very active on Day 3, which could be due to having spotty internet coverage, and was kinda rushed with his posts though that again could just be the spotty internet. Fletch and Nagi both get moved up a slot; while Fletch is still kind of acting the same I kinda buy his roleclaim, and while Nagi just has the one post she really made it count with all that reasoning and reads, and that coupled with Aaron's prior behavior has me leaning town for her. Now for the third slot... Sparkin was silenced, which I guess kinda moves him up from scummy... but to me at least he's still kind of acting strange. Though I could attribute that to him just being new... purple also gets put on this catagory due to her also similarly acting kind of strange. She is trying to glean information which I give her credit for, but at the same time she's... kind of making all her judgments after everyone else does. On Day 3 she followed everyone on voting for Sparkin, and when people came to a general consensus he got silenced she kind of back-peddled. On a smaller note she's still kind of hung up on being voted for Day 1.... but again this could be due to her just being green though for her that excuse doesn't fly as well. Their being new is really throwing me off. I guess if she acts more suspect I'll put her back in the Slightly Scummy catagory... she'd honestly be down there already if she weren't as new as she is but I guess I'll give her a tiny benefit of a doubt. And as for Goldy.... he's... kinda being a bit passive. He's not really posting that much and is kind of going with the flow, not really adding all that much to the conversation. He's kinda acting like Fletch was pre-roleclaim, and while you could maybe chalk that up to lack of motivation..... eeeeeeeeh..... I dunno....
Nani's reads actually don't look bad here. But then there's some questionable things too - why does she end up voting purple when logically she should be voting Desi who seems to be the scummiest according to her revised reads? I think she looks much worse here for not voting him now that we know he was scum.
Also noting that she didn't answer my question about why she left Ash out of her read list (though I guess she was without internet for a few days... but still)
She next comes back in to claim her role and join the Sparkin wagon. I pointed out before how Nani has only been on wagons not against mafia (except for the ones that were confirmed/outed)
I like this post too. The bit about lynching an experienced player would be weird coming from scum!Ash here imo given that the scum players so far were experienced players, and there's only experienced players left in the game (why suggest a lynch like that if it could land on a teammate?) Does this make sense? Maybe this just makes more sense in my headI thought I had mentioned my thoughts on purplecicada but I suppose it might have been skipped or I actually didn't type it and send it oops. But I think she's just an enthusiastic new player at this point. It'll be at least another day before I can say whether I'm leading more towards mafia or not. Right now it's neutral.
To answer Jolt on NightKrow and Home right now NightKrow isn't deeming as suss to me for now. He's one of the few who's actually talking and reading people. I'm not saying I'm reading him as town as he might just be an active mafia player trying to lead the way while we're lost in the middle of nowhere but as of right now he's being helpful but I'll take the help with a grain of salt, so to speak. As for Home I got nothing other than I agree with NightKrow and that Home's "random lynching = scum" reading it flawed. So really another reason why I'm not fosing NightKrow at this point.
Honestly at this point I'd rather random lynch an experienced player that hasn't said much today. Especially since the day is about to end. :/ and idk I don't feel comfortable lynching a new player who might not know what to say (yet)? Not on day one anyways.
I think Ash is the first to give a full scum read on Aaron/Nagi, not sure why she would do that at this point if they were teammates (I guess this only rules out Ash/Nagi as a team, but not Nani/Ash)Sparkin' and Aaron/Noraxia are my scum reads. I'd explain more but lord I am tired af after a long day but really it comes down to them being really quiet. For Sparkin' I'm not 100% sure whether it's cause he's new at this and so he just doesn't know how to contribute (which is what I'm leaning for, honestly), but either way he should speak up with having a few reads on him. And idk if Nagi has forgotten she was Aaron's replacement or what but if she's posted I haven't seen it.
purplecicada is fairly defensive over superjolt's claims on her being scum still so she's reading slight fos on me. Fletch claimed Tracker so unless there's any counter claims i'll take his word for it.
She actually said Sparkin and Noraxia (not purple) idk if that's actually important to note but my head kind of hurts right now so...But i did iirc. I cant find the post bc im on my phone but i said i was scumreading sparkin and purple. Someone above mentioned as such. I dont think purple is scum unless someone counterclaims. Not really leaning towards anyone rn i have to read back again.
That said tho sry for being quiet. Got into a car crash so i havent really been online ive been laying in bed instead. Ill see bout being here after work tho.
Nagi:
Aaron was a lightningrod of dialogue on D1
Very quiet
More inclined to point fingers than defend
Scumread Desi the instant before his claim... but did not change her vote after
Was against defending vigilante claim
Took a really long time to get her claim out... but that was her first post after in a long while.
