But I will say that the BRS anime has nothing to do with Vocaloids. The only connection that BRS has to them is the fact that Miku sings a song for the character. However the character Black Rock Shooter, as well as Black Gold Saw, and Black Matagi, Dead Master, etc are their own characters.. They have no connection to Vocaloids, and weren't based off of them. So BRS =/= Miku.. at all.

Not trying to sound like a know-it-all.. it's just that so many people kept thinking this Anime was going to be a Vocaloid story, or that BRS was based off Miku, and such. x_x;

As for the anime itself, it looks awesome.. I hope it lives up the hype.

I said before that the anime was based off fanpictures based off the song, right? Some of the characters depicted in some of them eventually ended up being universally accepted characters, and it went from there. Reason i haven't been using the names besides Dead Master is that Dead Master is the only one that actually showed up in the trailer.

Holy, I just knew about the anime yesterday! (And watched the trailer yesterday!) I'm really excited about it~
Sometimes I really hope that it would come earlier... I can't wait!

On another note, I get really pissed when people say B★RS = Miku.

Yeah, it's annoying. I'm personally just using the name because as far as I know, there hasn't been an official name announced yet, and seeing as BRS was loosely based of Miku in the first place, well . . .

Just watched the pilot DVD.
Kinda felt bad for my friend who paid 1200 yen for a DVD containing only 5 minutes of footage, but it looks promising.

As for complaints: the DVD booklet could have had more stuff, a few pages of character designs and world sketches seems to be not enough fanservice.

Uuum.. well the character's have existed for quite awhile. They're drawn by an artist named HUKE, and you can find pictures of them around that he drew. Apparently they're just his random characters, and he gave them a back story, but didn't ever intend for them to be animated.. xD; It just turned out that way.

Anyhoo, if you look em up, you should be able to find some things.
