    Third Game Cover Design Contest

    September 18th 2011 will mark one year since the release of Black and White in 2010. To celebrate, we're hosting a design a third game cover contest, in which you guys get to design a cover for the third game.

    Rules & Information

    *image removed* The name of the game on the cover is up to you, be creative & make it match the Pokemon on the cover
    *image removed* The Pokemon on the cover is also up to you!
    *image removed* 800px x 800px max, but it can be as small as you like, just large enough that we can see the design - just PLEASE spoiler your images by adding in "[spoiler][/spoiler]" tags around your image
    *image removed* You have until the end of Monday American EST time to post your entry in this thread
    *image removed* You can find Pokemon images (Sugimori and Dream World) on Bulbapedia.
    *image removed* You can find the "Pokemon" font on an online font site. We can't give you the url to it, but if you search you should be able to find it...
    *image removed* You don't need to design a back cover
    *image removed* You don't need to include the side "Nintendo DS" thing if you don't know how to replicate it
    *image removed* You can use any font for the name of the third game
    *image removed* There will be emblems, but you'll see them later :)

    Heh, well I tried my best with this, and I think it looks great. The name was a hard choice though, I'm still not happy with it. I was stuck between Lackluster, Luster, Palidin and Forever (Just to suck up to Forever) version. xD;

    It's been awhile since I posted on PC, but here's my entry:

    Spent about 45 minutes in Photoshop & Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I'm crossing my fingers for a Zircon version, not a Grey/Gray one.

    Urm I've seen two above awesome entries, kinda don't have a chance now xD And I wanted to do custom art, since I don't have to, might save time.

    I remember this awesome art piece I saw, I'll be using that =D

    I decided not to use Kyurem after seeing everybody else's done it.
    Credits to chasefase for the DS side thing, and PokeFaktory for the Genesect image.
     
    Oh, darn it.

    I was going to use Genesect too. :c
    I guess I'll use something else, don't know what though.

    EDIT: Even though Kyurem is going to obviously be the next cover, assuming they're following the tradition of all the games, I'll use another Pokémon.

    Pulled out all the stops for this one. Took a couple of days, and here it is:

    Right - before you ask, no there isn't a font for the 'Grey' text - I had to design and draw that myself (took an hour to do right). :)

    It's based on the European box, hence the PEGI logos instead of the ERSB logos and the 'Assembled in Germany' bit. Just 'cos it's grey version doesn't mean it can't be colourful. ^^
