Question: Blogs?

I really want to make a blog so i can post my Solo Run updates but im unable to.

How much posts do i have to have or can a Moderator kindly allow me to create one please?

You need to get 5000 posts or donate $10 at least. Or get modded, but that's not as easy :x

Is there any chance a very kindly Moderator would be able to allow me to use blogs as I'm underage so I cant donate for the moment ( and my parents are saving their money ) and I have a low chance of becoming a staff member.

I want to post my SR updates but I needs a blog for that.

There's the Travel Journey thread, or post in the Solo Run thread.

You don't need a blog; it's just nice to have one, since it's personal. There won't be any exceptions, though, I guarantee you.

Since you won't get a blog anytime soon (5,000 posts is lengthy to obtain), you can post there.

That's the only place, really. Assuming you're talking about HGSS (there are Travel Threads in other generation forums, too)

I think you are misinterpreting the rules of that section a bit. As far as a Solo Run goes, you can indeed use hacks. The restriction on hacked pokemon only applies to battle/trades. Unless the rules explicitly say "No hacks allowed in Solo Runs" then I am implicitly correct.

HG/SS Solo Run Challenge​

What is it?


Basically this is a challenge for HGSS in which you try to beat the game using only one Pokemon throughout the whole game. You can choose whatever you like (but obviously using stuff like legendaries makes you significantly less cool ;P). Simply decide on a Pokemon you want to use, and post here saying you want to take up the challenge. Then whenever you want post here telling us how you are going with your challenge - what gyms you've beaten, any challenging points in the playthrough, etc.

The challenge is considered to be beaten when you beat Red and the Elite Four twice.


Rules!

Because restrictions tend to be required with this sort of thing. =P

• You can only use your solo runner for the actual battling. Feel free if you want to use, say, low-level Pokemon for revive-purposes, but you can go without for a harder challenge in things like gym battles or the Elite Four.
• HM slaves are allowed, and using lower-levelled Pokemon in the double battles only is also allowed.
• You may use your starter until you get your solo-runner Pokemon in your team.
• Any (legit) Pokemon can be used. If you are trading over a Pokemon though, trade over the egg form of it and hatch before using it early on (advisably before the 1st gym, 2nd absolute latest).
• No hacking Pokemon - that's just taking away from the challenge.
• Don't spam, please. If you have any questions ask away if it's not covered in this post.
• It is advised to post with more detail than less - but the minimum needed is to mention what Pokemon you are starting with, nickname if any, whether you are evolving or not, and what version you are playing in your first post. Then just detail your adventures in later posts, mentioning what you've done, current level, etc.

You could always request to make a social group? I think they're moderated now [/loser who can't remember T_T] That's a way around the blog thing if you want to post it on pc. :o There's also stuff like livejournal which is free and you can link to it in your signature. :3 There's not a good chance of you getting a 'free blog' if you will, because they're considered a perk. The staff's maybe given them out twice and the details were never released to the public as far as I know. >>;;;

So a social group on pc or an offsite blog would be best.
