OUTLINE
This is a 16-person tournament, single elimination, to take place on WiFi (not Shoddy).
There are 16 battles in total, done so using a bracket system – for the losers of the semifinals there is a 3rd place battle.
You are required to have 5 of your 6 pokemon contain a personally selected type.
Types are given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If you choose Fire-type, you MUST use 5 pokemon which have Fire as either a primary- or secondary-typing.
The 6th pokemon can be of any typing.
The following are legitimate type selections:
- Normal (taken by KingKaos)
- Fire (taken by Magmarizer)
- Water (taken by ~Princess of Johto~ )
- Electric (taken by myrrh25)
- Grass (taken by altaria221)
- Ice (taken by SkythurBathandBeyond151)
- Fighting (taken by Jin-Roh)
- Poison (taken by polkop)
- Ground (taken by Xtreme99)

- Psychic (taken by Bendak)

- Rock
- Ghost (taken by Nicktacular)

PRIZES
1st Place - All 3 Crown Beasts (trained winner's liking) + Winner Selected Shiny*
2nd Place - Goon Scizor + Movie Celebi + Lv100 Shiny Salamence (trained to liking)
3rd Place - Any two shiny Lv100 pokemon (bred and trained to liking)*
* Donates will be done if possible (ex. I can't obtain a Shiny Celebi because they don't exist) and I can't breed legendaries but if I have one or can obtain one with the requested nature I'll be more than happy to EV train it.
All participants will receive a trained Dragonite (trained to liking).**
RULES
- Anything except the SS tier is permitted. Tier list can be found here.
- Standard rules. Rules can be found here.
- Illegal items: BrightPowder, Dire Hit, Focus Band, King's Rock, Lansat Berry, Lucky Punch, Quick Claw, Razor Claw, Razor Fang, Scope Lens, Stick
- Post your friend code and in-game username in this thread. First 16 will be admitted.
DATES
Tournament will commence July 30th.
Round 1 (8 participants left) must be completed by August 1st.
Round 2 (4 participants left) must be completed by August 3rd.
Round 3 (Final) and 3rd place battle must be completed by August 6th.
Be sure to PM or otherwise contact your opponent to schedule a match. Disputes should be submitted to me via PM or email ([email protected]).
** Anyone who fails to show up for their match will be automatically disqualified and unable to obtain a trained Dragonite.
RECORDING
Battles should be recorded as a battle video and uploaded to the Global Terminal – video IDs should be left as either a thread post, PM or email to me.
Though not a requirement, this is highly recommended in case of a dispute.

A: Yes, so long as it remains monotype (5 of the 6 pokemon are of a specific typing).
