6th Gen Boosting the stats of more Pokemon?

So in XY the stats of Pokemon like Pikachu were increased slightly compared to B2W2 (and all the way back to generation II). I know it sounds unlikely but do you think they'll boost the stats of any other 'weak' Pokemon, or Pokemon who 'could use' a boost like they did with Alakazam. Of course doing so would mean patching or updating XY to include these changes. Do you think they may do it? if so which Pokemon do you think they'll boost this time around?

Patching is a possibility, I will concede that fact. But I don't think they will alter any more stats for this generation...I wouldn't mind if they did, but I feel it's unlikely. Adding more Pokémon or Megas is one thing, but actually altering stats is something I don't think they'll do more than once a generation (it would be great to have older Pokémon be more balanced with the newer ones in general, though). If it happens I won't complain, but in all honesty I don't see it happening in these games. In future games (gens) I definitely see it, though.

I hope they do change some weak Pokemon, make them buffed in some cases and normal evo's kinda nerfed a bit and patch them in XY also. Some Pokemon really need a boost and some need a cut from the stats.

If they were to boost any stats I would like them to boost the stats of Altaria. Also Pikachu could use another boost (still seems too frail...it's bst is lesser than Minun and Plusle).

I would also like to see Mawile get a boost.
Also they should give Mega Alakazam those missing 10 stat points as it only gets an increase of 90. Even Ampharos gets the full 100 even though it also got a boost. Or reduce all the stats of the other megas by 10 xD.

Pikachu should obviously need a buff since it is the Pokemon Mascot haha. Why would it's "clones" be better than the original Pokemon it was based on? It seems silly!

It certainly is...but in the defense of the clones, they don't evolve like Pikachu so their medium bst is all they get. (Give Megas for the clones and none for the overrated Pikachu muhahaha!) Still another little boost will make it more useful, especially when paired up with the Light orb. Also maybe give Clefairy and Clefable a slight boost as they have a strange (odd numbered) bst...

Fair point on the clones tho but I guess all of them could be boosted a bit. You cant have a cute Pokemon than cant pack a punch in competitive terms.

I'm also irked at the fact of the Pokemon that have no 0 or 5s in the last digit of their bst. It kinda throws me off a bit. But I don't really care since I'm not the competitive type haha.

Also I noticed that Clefairy's line is stronger than Pikachu's...so it'll be nice to see Pikachu's line get a bump to match their line as they (to me) seem like counterparts (the twins in FrLg used them like how the twins in RS use Solrock and Lunatone, Minun and Plusle, etc.) . At least Raichu and Clefable.

I also heard a rumor that Ash was originally supposed to get a Clefairy instead of a Pikachu! Don't know how true that is though so don't take my word for it.

I doubt that they will change any base stats now. They had the chance to do it in XY when they were rebooting/recreating everything for the next generation and it would seem kinda odd if they did it in ORAS but not in XY.

I find it kinda unlikely that they'll boost more Pokemon's stats in ORAS. It's certainly possible because of patches, but if they're gonna boost more Pokemon, why didn't they do it in X/Y?

I think it'd be nice if Zangoose and Seviper got a slight boost in stats. And Altaria too. Thing's so offensively weak....

I would also like to see Mawile get a boost.

They did give Mawile a boost. A Huge boost in fact. They called it Mega Mawile.

I think there are a few Hoenn Pokémon that could use a stat enhancement, Medicham, Swellow, Plusle, Minun etc. I'm not sure whether they will carry on this trend for these games, but if it happened in X & Y then surely it is possible.

Not sure if they've done such a thing in previous remakes like HGSS, but I know some Hoenn pokemon could use the upgrade. Masquerain is a glaring candidate for such a boost, as well as Plusle, Minun, and others. There are certainly some that fit the bill, but I', not sure that they'll actually be boosting their stats. Seems more like something they'd do in order to balance out the fairy typing of older Pokemon, or something along those lines.

Yeah Altaria could use a boost. Or a Mega like Mawile did.
