6th Gen Boxarts actually a remake of both the Original North American R/S boxes and Japanese R/S boxes

Did anybody find out that for the first time in Pokemon history, Boxarts for Pokemon remakes utilized both elements of the Japanese boxarts and North American Boxarts for Pokemon OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire? I sure did after comparing the OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire boxarts with both the North American and Japanese box Arts of the original games, and frankly, this is a big achievement.

That's a huge title...

Also, I did not know that.

I just took a look, and for starters it looks like the US logo font uses the same "edges" from the JP logo font.

How you were able to do that is beyond me.

I'm not sure it's entirely relevant though. It's indeed cool, but probably means nothing in the long run.

All I'm noticing are the red/blue banners on the box art as a "similarity" from the Japanese boxart. Nothing else rings a bell. o_O

I don't think that this will be relevant to any gameplay features between Japan and NA, it's cool that you noticed that though. I think it was just how the artists wanted it, I don't think that there is any significant meaning behind it.

I'm guessing they are symbolizing how GF is returning back to its roots I guess and returning to one of the famous regions that hasn't been updated in a while I guess? Also since this is the first time the remakes are going to be released worldwide rather than pre-Gen 6 so I guess thats the reason?
