No I never had braces. I'm getting them though, *sigh* I don't really need them either, I have teeth that are proped up on my gums and people think they're vampire teeth. -_- I don't really need braces.

And last I heard, it was called "Metal Mouth" XD.

Yup yup. I have those teeth too. I actually just got braces last month, which was a little odd for me, and the dentist said I was actually pretty darn old. So I just have to hope that they work, for all the money they cost. XP

Now I cleary remember Kim (my friend's really awsome mom) telling me to wear my retainer right after I got my braces off. She said that she had to get them again because she didn't. I didn't listen.

Its this appliance thiny thats worth like, 2 grand and I have to wear for..a year to 16 months.

It pulls my lower jaw foward and makes it so I can't move it back (cause I had a really bad crossbite)

It worsens my speech, I can't eat, sleep, or even yawn properly. And the owrst thing is that I have to wear it 24/7 and it cuts into my bottom lip. - -''

And I don;t really agree wih what you said, Chairman Kaga.

Its not just for rich people to um, show off.

I have never once seen people get braces just to showoff (though i've heard of it before but i've never actually seen it)

And it really is *kinda* a necessity to some people. Like if their teeth get too crooked that they can start feeling pain from them o___O;; *shrinks back* Or they can;t eat or something like that O__< I don't know what you mean by medical reason btw XD *brick'd*

And what if your bottom jaw is too short that you can't even eat??? *dies*

Ive never had braces, my teeth are identical to my moms, which are perfectly straight. Thank goodness ^.^

Nah, j'adore my teeth ^-^ They have no prob at all and they'll never gonna have one. Heh.
But I know, it really hurts when you're getting braces...I was with my best friend when she got hers. The important thing is that they're not gonna stay your whole life, and that your teeth will look much beter =)

Yeah, I've had braces before, twice.
The first time was I had an under bight, so I had them on for two years.
Then I got them off for a year.
The second time I had them on cause there wasen't enough room for my eye-teeth to come in, so I had them on for another two years.

And now, my teeth are straight!!:D
I had to wear a retainer for a year or so and now I don't wear them, cause I don't need them any more.

I wore an Herbist Appliance for about six months when I was in fifth grade. After I had that removed, I had to wear braces for a year and a half. Then, I wore a retainer for two years, which I no longer use since I don't need it anymore.

Braces. Oh, yes. I remember those instruments of torture my parents made me wear. Lucky for me, I wasn't teased for it.

I had braces and it wasn't too fun. But it wasn't too bad, first I had to get my four wisdom teeth taken out. Because they were crowding around my back teeth(I had a major overbite up front my teeth, also I had two teeth growning on top the ones I had O_o). So that was bad, I couldn't eat soild food for a week. >< Jello and Soup. And then I got my braces. I had to say goodbye to candy, nuts, and all of that stuff for about three years. ;; Thank goodness this happened when I was a teenager.
