Welcome to the club! Yep shinies are a pain when trying for them but some of them are worth the effort if you really like the colour. My only two so far are Charizard and Greninja that i've actively tried for and managed to get 2 of each, one duff and one with the right IV's.
 
Alright, now I am a bit confused. What do you mean breed a ghost type with Trick-or-treat?

Shiny Pachirisu and Buneary are both pink u///w//u

Trick-or-Treat (Japanese: ハロウィン Halloween) is a non-damaging Ghost-type move introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature move of Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist.

Swampert and Cradily both become pink too. :P Though I think a lot of ghost types have amazing shinies

And I know WHAT Trick-Or-Treat is. XD But for the breeding challenge for this month we were told breed Trick-or-Treat onto a ghost type, which confused me.

Dedenne is cool I just wish he was nicer stats!

Started prepping for Trevenant breeding run, managed to get Venom Drench on a HA Phantump so now to just breed again for the finished article. Shiny Trevenant is quite cool too so hoping I get lucky, will probably try 4 or 5 runs. Then will trade with my pokemon Y for the final evolution.

Tbh, dedenne kinda makes me sad u wu
4 or 5 runs? Dang. that's pretty short... I've been getting a bunch of Extreme Speed Dratini u wu
Getting natures is a pain in the butt. Sometimes you get them after a few goes... and others you're like "What? I've tried for 50 and still no?"
And getting the nature WITH the ability //tableflip
I hate it when you get the nature but you don't get the booting ability.
asdfgjkl breeding struggles.
Trevenant as a shiny is pretty cool... very Halloween u wu
 
I mean 4 or 5 runs for shiny when I have the right nature/ability/sex etc locked in place.

I have a selection of 6IV ditto with natures adamant, jolly, timid, modest so that's pretty easy to get with everstone its just getting the IV's up and getting the right sex (i like to pass on luxury ball to all my bred pokemon) and keeping the HA.

I have like 12 different dittos with different natues. XD And then one with perfect IV's.
 
My four all have perfect IV's, completely hacked but meh they are only dittos.
 
Dittos are great u wu I need dittos with natures but I like getting the natures while I breed with just the ditto having the destiny knot.... it saves having to take it out...
Saves money too... until i have to take it out again. ; w;)b
Pokeball-wise... I don't mind, tbh.
I have 1 ditto and that's all i need >:D
Although I like having female HA pokemon to pass down dream balls sometime u wu they're cute.
 
Yep 6 IV Japanese with natures for MM breeding.
 
I used to only breed for standard poke balls but then randomly captured something in a luxury ball and liked its graphic so ever since have captured/bred with luxury balls. It does annoy me that I cant get lux ball on Fossil pokemon though as id love my Tyrantrum to have lux ball.
 
Two things I need to breed, at least I will breed them while waiting for more specific info about this ghost breeding thing, is a new Skarmory, and a Modest, Adaptibility, Choice Specs, Hyper Beam Porygon Z. Considering it does 61-72% to a typical Blissey, I would say that so long as I hit things neutral, things are going to die. XD
 
Skarmony is one of those Pokemon i've always been interested in trying but never got round to.

I'm just going with my Trevenant for the ghost challenge, I got lucky with a decent 5IV HA female earlier but going to do a few more runs in case of a shiny/6IV.

Will level and EV train and then get a picture when its finished. I'm going to miss blissey bases in Pokemon Z whenever its out next year.
