Breeding discovery!

Oh wow! I wasn't sure if anyone has noticed (those of us who breed), but apparently males can pass down their Poke Ball type to offspring if paired with an identical Pokemon. I am breeding two Eevee; The male is in Heal Ball and the female is in Friend Ball, and the eggs are alternating what ball the baby will be in (not sure if it is based on the eggs gender yet, as I am still hatching them).

Baby #1: Friend Ball / Male
Baby #2: Heal Ball / Male
Baby #3: Friend Ball / Male
Baby #4: Heal Ball / Male
Baby #5: Friend Ball / Female

So it looks like the gender roll still happens, but the ball types will alternate. That's pretty cool, as I've always wanted to get certain Pokemon in a preferred ball type :)

Maybe the ball is rolled as well, because I swapped around which Eevee I am using, and now all my eggs are in Friend Ball.

I noticed even the males pass it down with a Ditto as well.
