I think this counts as a Spoilier so don't read if you don' like spoiliers.

What you guys think about Brock and his new pokemon Bonsly? Any thoughs about this?

I personally enjoyed this episode :3 I am just worried if Bonsly is going to be portrayed too much of as a crybaby though:\

At least he'll be getting a Sudowoodo eventually. Gasp, a rock type! Heaven forbid that after the water types he's had in the recent years. ;)

Besides, he'll need something to replace Onix eventually.

Knowing as he has an affinity for licking Sudowoodos this may turn out to be interesting...and disturbing.

Can anyone say, "hey kiddies, buy XD!"?

Thank you, Chairman, I finally was able to forget that...icky moment of Season Four, until now. Heh.

Anyway, Sudowoodo is on XD, but it isn't a Pokemon that noteworthy for a game. As opposed to say Lugia, or even say, Umbreon/Espeon from Colosseum. It's not as obvious. Heh.

Just stuck out at me, even at this point in time. Brock at his lowest.

Sudowoodo may be a marginal part of XD, but Bonsly is the second-most apparent poster child for it behind Shadow Lugia...therefore I feel that any hope we have of Bonsly ever evolving is gone, unfortunately.

I think they'll stall forever, but eventually, evolve. Although they forgotten evolutions for cuteness before (James' Cacnea and Misty's Psyduck). So yeah, it's a crapshoot.

    Oh....then I guess you don't like my avatar.:P

Anyway, I'm glad he caught a new pokemon, and I'm kinda hoping it won't evolve into a Sudowoodo, just because Sudowoodo's strike me as a very weird pokemon to have as a daily pokemon rather a one time.

    What avatar? ;)

Nah, it's just Sudowoodo is kinda the ninja of the Johto set because it's so sneaky and deceptive. That mimicing reminds more how it should be a Rocket Pokemon because of such tactics. It doesn't fit Brock's brute strength/honest methods at all, so given that, good chance it may not evolve. But at least another rock type for him is always a plus.

    Thanks on the title change.

I just began to notice that they using the show a lot latey to promote the video games. I mean that what the show is. To promote the games but still. Changing the open theme with the Pokemon Dungon game and all. I guess they just using Bonsly as that advertisment.

I like the idea that they finally gave Brock a rock type pokemon. I was getting tired of his water types becasue it was Misty who had water types and it got me made becasue it felt like Brock was replacing her as the water trainer when he orginally had rock types. I agree they won't evole it but still doesn't match his style in battling. A cute little pokemon? But he rarly battles any more.

I do agree that given Brock Water types was...odd, at least with Forestress, it made more sense with the Metal part. But yeah, I think Bonsly is to make up for past mistakes.

Although about your thing about Brock not battling, I can't say at that future battles he isn't involved. At least end of Hoenn, he's getting that, particularly end of last season and now with recent episodes. But yeah, it's like the Sabrina-Erika episode timing debacle--get what you want now, pay for it later.

The thing is that I have the feeling he will not be battling much with Bonsly. Maybe none at all. I mean. Its a cute pokemon. It like togiepi. I don't see much battling coming out of it. Then Bonsly cries a lot. It almost worst then togiepi. I like the egg but still. It kinda repeating itself. A bad choice for a rock type for Brock.

I am of the opinion that the darn thing cried way too much.

...though the crying at the beginning of the battle was quite smart. Distracted Brock pretty well...

    Yes, disturbing indeed.

    Crying, I dunno about that.

Ahem. Well I think Bonsly might lighten up the shows, since his jolly and all. He's ready to party! In my opinion.

Fuuu... I feel like the show's slowly turning into Baby Looney Tunes. @_@ Next we'll be seeing Pikachu revert to a Pichu and Ash and co. becoming toddlers playing with their cute baby pokemon and going on all sorts of hairbrained adventures that will always end by confusing the clueless adults.

Seriously though, what's with the baby pokemon? I know they're cute but....

Anyway, Brock with Bonsly. Um, what is there to say? I'm glad he's getting away from the water pokemon, but it would be much cooler to have actually bred the Bonsly. >.> Really now Brock, when is he actually going to have a go at breeding pokemon? That is his goal, right? They should be giving him a Ditto, not a baby pokemon that he didn't produce.

Eh, I'm sorry, but I just hate seeing Brock so... stagnant.

I love it, because i love Bonsly, and finally he has a rock type again, i think Bonsly willbe around for 1 or 2 seasons more and then it will evolve.
