    INTRODUCTION:

Basically, I've seen a few threads of late with "Weather" Teams, and people are using just any pokemon as a lead, and almost always, six pokemon of the weather type. This isn't always the best way to go. In this Guide, I will show you the proper ways of constructing a Weather Team, which pokemon to use, and how you should use them.

    WEATHER #1 [HAIL]

    Spoiler:

    WEATHER #2 [SANDSTORM]

    Spoiler:

    WEATHER #3 [RAIN DANCE]
    Spoiler:

    WEATHER #4 [SUNNY DAY]

    Spoiler:

    WILL CONTINUE SOON

    Regards,

Yay! Another one of T_S's guides!

Actually, T_S, could you also add stuff like trick room? That could come under weather since it's just like other weather moves.

Forgetting Articuno in the Hail team section is taboo :0

Really most Hail teams aren't really designed to sweep. they're more stall-ish and want ot beat crap down with their weather abuse.

honestly the "balanced" team you posted was really bad though, 4 fighting weaks and Heracross.Medicham/Gallade totally murders it and Infernape just destroys it all...

as in it needs to be actually balanced.

I wouldn't worry so much about messing with snow cloak and everything over actually making the team a solid structure. Like all teams it needs a fair amount of resistances and walls to keep running and just kind of throwing 6 pokemon together honestly won't work.

For a person to be able to make a -good- Hail team, they need to know a lot more than what was provided in this guide. I think more emphasis is needed on how to deal with common threats like Infernape, Tyranitar, fighting pokemon, phazers [when Stealth Rock does 25% to ice pokemon], etc.

Also you should include everything Hail does, like the reduction on healing moves like Moonlight, accuracy of Thunder, and everything else.

Obligatory Abomasnow lead isn't always good. It is slow, has many common weaknesses, and more importantly your only weather changer. Keeping him alive is crucial for every hail team.

Not to nit-pick, Hail increases Thunder's accurracy? Or was that a typo? If not, interesting fact to know.

Wow. I never knew that, partailly due to how little Hail teams there are.

Does it decrease the power of any moves, like Rain Dance on Fire?

Also Hippowdon leads will have the weather on their side as they are slower I'm pretty sure.

Basically Syaoran said what I tired to say better.

EDIT: also needs to include some info as how to actually operate and also counter these teams. A little too brief.

Also for Loquacity when you look over this you might wanna take the 4th Gen EV guide out of the 3rd gen compiled guides.

I've noticed that you have a Positives from Hail section but there is no Negative section... either you need to add in a Negatives of Hail section or change it Effects caused when Hail is active

As I stated in my first post, I was rushed for time. I was intending to add everything later on, as I had 10 mins before I had to go to school.

@sims: Where did I say thunder? I'm sure I meant Blizzard if I said Thunder, and I need to know where I said it.

sims was regarding my post. Thunder remains the same in hail. [just to avoid more confusion]

I didn't even know that Thunder's accuraccy decreases in Sandstorm. Live & learn.

Also the part about regice's Fire weakness bothering it isn't really true since Modest Specsmence can't even 3HKO it with flamethrower and that's with Calm and no SDef EVs I believe :0

Yeah, but it sucks when you're expecting CSFlamethrower and get CBStone Edge x_x

You could say that in any situation invloving salamence since it's so unpredictable. In the same respect, Hippowdon and Blissey are no safer to switch in. Actually, they're both more unsafe since Regice can take a ton of damage. It usually has a TON of Def and will actually not mind even CBmence.

Also most people don't use Stone edge at first on CBmence. Usually Dragon claw seems to be the first move, and sometimes Earthquake. Once the opponent finds out you have regice an easy switch to your rock resist fixes that.

Outpredicting Salamence is always tough, Regice is actually one of the safer switches into it in the game.

Well, with that said, I believe Claydol is the safest switch-in in the game. Just thought I'd get that out, even if it is off topic x_x

    Anyways, continue.....
