Bunking.

We call it plugin over in my direction

yeh, ive done it

teachers always give me written work so i'l walk out of class and the teachers will chase me

but i konw these halls like the back of my hand

I skip school all the time. I spend most of my friday mornings in bed as I am to lazy to go in for just a single lesson I remember one time I actually went in on friday till my driend phoned me and asked if I wanted to play pool. I went home straight away and played pool all day completly skipping the class.

I really shouldn't skip but it is so easy to do I can't help it. If the lesson is important I will go but as most of my classes I find a complete waste of time as I don't consentrate anyway I just skip them.

I've never skipped an entire day of school, nor do I ever plan to. I have, however, cut a few periods because: I'm missing a project, I didn't study for a test, the teacher is absent, or many other reasons. The classes that I do cut are usually ones where I can live with an unexplained absence.

Wow, I learned a new word today! We just call it skipping.

I've never skipped =0

Not without my parents permission or the schools anyway. For example, faking sick, going fishing with my dad, one time I had an out-of-building pass to go to my orthodontist and just didn't go back to my last hour because it was Chemistry and I hate chemistry. But I've never just left.

I'm a good kid =P

I used to skip class a lot.

Now I just play my DS/listen to music/browse the internet/read in class because the teachers stopped caring, so I haven't skipped in a while.

Hmm... Funny that you should ask. I wasn't planning on going tomorrow. Then again, I don't think it should really count because the whole rest of the class is going on a (pointless) all-day field trip.

In America, we call it skipping. XD Yeah, I've already done this four times in 8th grade. If I ever were to get five, unexcused absences, they would call my parents and informed them of what happened. So, I can only do four for each year. xP

This probably won't happen in high school, however. I need to stop this before I'd regret it.

I just got this reputation comment (along with negative reputation): "No one asked if you drank or did drugs." I wanted to respond that I group drinking and drug abuse with skipping school, as they are all behaviors that I abhor.

...The hell is bunking? Never heard that term used before o_O

But I skip school alot. It usually isn't because I'm off doing something truant, it's just because it's early in the morning, I'm hella lazy, and don't feel like getting up some days.

In all honestly, I've really only skipped out on school to go do something else twice in my life.

Bunking? I always called it jigging or wagging.

I've never skipped school...yet. :\ My parents would kill me if I did.

Or make me kill myself. :\ Something like that.

Being at a highly academically awesome school or something makes them have extremely high expectations of me. Probably more than I can get.

^ Expectations are scary. xD

No, never ever, I don't think.....

And I'm not planning on it!

They call it "sluffing" at my school.

Anyway, yeah. There's a coffee shop not too far from my school that probably gets half it's income from kids at my school who skip class. I went there a quite a lot actually. I only skipped the classes that weren't very important (Cooking, P.E., etc.) so I didn't and still don't feel very guilty about it. However, my mom caught me and now for every class I skip I have to wait another month to get my driver's license. I don't skip anymore, but now that it's the end of the year, it's getting really hard to justify not skipping class. :/

I'm not even sure how I should pronounce that. What is with all the weird terms for such a thing? It's just skipping. o_O Never knew anyone called it anything but that (and maybe "cutting class" - but that's only on TV) before this thread came around.

the teacher is absent

Honestly, this. It's the easiest time to skip class. I've actually gone to class before, seen a substitute, and left the class. They have absolutely no idea who's who. And when a smart one comes along and passes around a clip-board for everyone to sign in, I'll have my friend sign me in. Oh, and my Adolescent Issues class, the guys off his rocker. :3 I'm almost certain he said smoking pot was better than drinking alcohol at one point. I sometimes skip homeroom for giggles. I usually end up in the office explaining how my homeroom teacher must've missed me and should retire soon.

So yes, to answer your question, I skip. And I enjoy it greatly. Honestly, to those of you who are all like ' NO WAY, I'M A GOOD PERSON!!!' , loosen up a bit, have some fun, you only get to be a kid once, let's not waste what we've got.

I'm not even sure how I should pronounce that.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sluff

Um... exactly how it is read? It isn't pronounced "sloof"...

I never thought that it was a Utah-only thing, but apparently it is according to urban dictionary. Hmm.

And also, please just ignore this thread if you can't stand that other people aren't as obsessed about being a perfect child as you are. I did skip class, and I still got good grades (A's and B's). I don't anymore, but just because I know my mom is watching my every move. Really, there are worse things you can do than not go to class.
