Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Ah, I play it on the PC. Never finished the story because I'm too hooked on the multi-player to bother. Level 55, also.

Normally play on Rokita's server, which is softcore Search and Destroy and very, very fun. Armed with a silence MP5 with Red Tiger camouflage and a Golden Desert Eagle, and perked with C4 x 2, Stopping Power and Deep Impact, I tear the place up.

Going for Golden Mini-Uzi, but I'm not obsessed with completing the challenges so I'll probably never get it.

Deagle has seven rounds and only 10 more power than the other pistols (which all have 30-40, Deagle has 40-50). As such I have an M9 on all my classes without overkill.

But DE is more shiny and loud :D

Yeah, the power of the guns feels much better than those on World at War. The Red Tiger design is sexy too.

I don't get why so many people use P90, I've never being a huge fan of it on CoD4.
I mean, the best SMG imo is the MP5, the uzi is a fair second.

Do you guys bother with the "<insert gun name> Expert I" challenges?

I play mostly search and destroy, (I'm trying to get 10th prestige in 10 days play time!) And compared to the mp5, burst firing the silenced p90, it's way more accurate at range then the MP5. I've been going a lot of search games 14-0 16-0 racking up like 1500 exp a game :)! It's my favorite SMG. then the MP5. Also, does any one else agree that the M14 is the worst, and most patch needed gun in the game??!

M14 is horrible!
Literally I cannot see why anyone would use it, it's noisy as hell, doesn't pack a huge punch and has the rate of fire equivalent to that of a tortoise walking.

the G3 is a much safer and smarter single fire rifle.

i agree i love the g3
its my second favourite gun in the game
first being the m4 carbine

This game is alright when it's not Call of Duty 4: GRENADE Warfare. I mean really, I play and all the other people do is throw grenades. I let my friend borrow it and he never returned it. He keeps on forgetting to give back to me, whatever. But yeah decent shooter, I'm disappointed that COD:WAW was a step back.

With stopping power, one shot in the torso will kill in normal mode, which is almost sniper rifle power. Also it's good with the ACOG because the sway is low and the recoil doesn't go diagonally as with most weapons. Because of its power it's awful (definition 4: exceedingly great; not terrible) for hipfiring while assaulting buildings/rooms/tight spaces.

Explain. WaW was the only game whose SP campaign made me stop and think, if only for a few seconds, but it did; and bayonets pwn all CoD4 attachments.

I don't wanna go to WW2 again, I've been there like 1000 times in other games. It's a boring and old place.

I must confess random grenade kills really, really piss me off. I refuse to play on wetworks because of this.

I still say M14 sucks for what it is. If you want a distance weapon that packs a punch use the barret or the R700. G3 w/ stopping power will do the job and it's no way near as noisy or cumbersome to use as the M14.

I have both CoD4, and CoD:WaW. I like both, and ATM I'm better at WaW because I play it more. But I still over all I like CoD4 better.

On WaW I'm a level 65, 10th prestige.
On CoD4 I'm a level 55, 10th prestige.

My weapons depend on the map and such. But I mostly use a G3 my main and all around weapon, G36 for my run and gun (when I'm not going to Uzi kills), M40 my main powered sniper, M21 my speed sniper, and RPD for choppers.

Too many Americans showing off D-day has brought about that horrible reputation WWII games now have...
Theatres like Burma have been completely ignored despite how it would easily make the most involving game.

I thought playing away from D Day was a nice twist this time.

A ww1 cod would be interesting.

Does anyone ever use shotguns?

SMGs ♥
MP5 and Uzi are probably my most used guns when I think about it. My uzi has ACOG, the alternative sniper's choice ahahahaha.

Well to us Americans, D-Day is very important and historic.

Oh yes. Once you know where to move and when, range is no longer an issue; it takes an intricate knowledge of the map and potential tactics but a good player can rape the enemy spawn point many a time.
I use W1200 if it's primary; double-tap makes it a beast. I carry an M1014 as secondary in hardcore.
