Call of Duty: World at War - Map Pack 3

The reason why I like the Zombies game mode (or at least as far as the newest map goes) is that I'm pretty much sick of the multiplayer for CoD:WaW. When I downloaded the new maps I played on them a little... just about everyone was tubing, and out of 12 people in the game only 2 wasn't using Second Chance (me being one of them). The new maps just reminded me how crappy the WaW players are (and yes, if you have to stoop so low where you have to tube, or lay there for 30 seconds to get a kill then you are a crappy player. Doesn't matter if it's "in the game" or not).
But the Zombie map, that was something that was fun. I had a ton of fun playing on that map. I'd play it a lot more if I didn't have to search for random people to play it with (and them people has to have a mic, has to talk, and doesn't sound like a 5 year old. So it's very hard).

That trailer for it looks really good. The transporter looks funny, and I wish they showed some upgraded weapons. But over all, I can't wait for the new Zombie map.

There is a new knife that gets you 1 Hit Kills! It costs a lot of points though and so does it to use the transporters.

Yea I saw that, but I think there's something where you can upgrade any weapon in Zombie mode.

Sooo, that's 2 map packs for this game I need to get. And the new GoW2 map pack that contains all the paid for maps as well as the new campaign and stuff (I only have the free ones).

I'm supposed to be saving for ODST, Tekken 6 and MW2 as well >.>

Yeah heard about that, but will it just be aperture sights or something more awesome?

Analysis time. Dr. Richtofen invented a teleporter to transport them to Der Riese. There is a power switch needed to use machines, as in Verrückt. It appears that there will be some sort of timed event, due to the giant clock, which even has what seems to be a hand for the seconds. Perhaps it can go between day and night? Or maybe it is a countdown to the end of the Zombies? Next, the Pack-A-Punch. It adds abilities to the guns. They get weird markings on them, and have bizarre effects. It appears that it makes every gun shoot a reddish-orange color "bullet", wether it be the Browning or the Wunderwaffe. It also makes them either more powerful or shoot faster. The Monkey Bomb appears to be something you must hit a button to switch over to so you can set it out. It is most likely what happens when you put a Bouncing Betty in the Pack-A-Punch Machine, or it may be something you must push the up, down, or left arrow to switch over to. Next, the Hellhounds spawn anywhere on the Map. They also appear to scan the area and cause sparks to fly when they hit metal. It is unknown wether or not they have one-hit deaths from the Bowie Knife. Next, Nikolai and Dempsey get downed in the Trailer. I hope that it is only in there for dramatic purposes, because they both rule. In the end, Takeo and Richtofen are fighting off a hoard of Zombies with their Punch-Pack'd Browning and MG, respectively. Could this be the end of the Zombie series, as well as our crew that we've come to know and love?

I haven't seen the video yet I am streaming it right now. But on the issue of the clock I think it could be till the next rounds when the dogs will appear.

Also release date has been confirmed as the 6th of August. I can't wait for it. I am trying to get the last few trophies on map pack 2 before it is out but I doubt I will be able to.

I can imagine now, Dempsey screaming "CANT KEEP A MARINE DOWN!!" and Nikolai shouting "Who are you, <insert swearzies here> Rasputin? Stay dead this time!" as they pull themselves back up :D

I downloaded it a few hours ago and the new zombie map is so amazingly fun. I've only played it a couple times by myself, but from what I've played it's definitely the best. I got to round 10 before dying, which is pretty good IMO considering I was by myself and I didn't know my way around. I was wanting to use the machine that upgrades the weapons, but I couldn't figure out how to activate it. Sucks too, I was reading about Thompsons shooting laser beams and stuff. But yeah, it's definitely worth it.

It still hasn't been released in the Uks store as far as I'm aware.

To use pack a punk or whatever its called you have to turn on the power like in verrukt (sp)

Anyone work out what the clock is yet?

I turned the power on and still no luck.

The clock is kinda hard to explain, but I'll try. There are 3 (I think?) teleportation areas across the map that you can find which all link back to the spawn, but you have to "link them to the mainframe" to activate them. To link them to the mainframe, or activate them, you have to run from that teleportation area all the way back to where you spawned in the beginning where you'll find the main teleportation thing and then you have to connect them, which basically means you just press X... You only have 30 seconds (maybe more depending on where the teleporter is located on the map) to activate the teleporter and run back to the spawn to connect it to the mainframe.

I really doubt that made any sense, but it really is hard to explain.

I will be downloading it shortly. Im so excited.

The above post is great

I kinda had trouble locating the trenchgun on this map. Found it once but no luck any other time.

When you spawn in the door with the ramp (not the stairs). And then from there take a left around the corner. I don't know if you have to open another door or not but I'm pretty sure it's in there.

I downloaded the map yesterday and it's sooooooo good. It really does top the second map, by far this one is the best zombie map out there. It's worth the $10. It's sooo much fun, upgrading your weapons, the new knife, and everything. Last night Alex and I got to wave 20. And by wave 15-17 you'll find a little twist to some of the waves....

Also, all three of thenew maps are fantastic on Search and Destroy! Double Points + Search & Destroy = Prestige.

I wish I could still get excited about double XP, but I hit 10th prestige 65 a long time ago.

Tonight we got to level 27 on the new map. I think we could have easily hit rounds 30+ if we hadn't been ripped off by a cheap placement of a dog, but oh well. I got 1,500 kills and 100k points, which is by far the best I've done in a game of zombies.

Haven't really played the new multiplayer maps yet. All I have done since getting it is play zombie mode.

I love the new map. The pack a punch machine and new knife is a great addition. Furthest I reached was 17 at about midnight last night. Had to stop after that. Only reason we lost was because none of us were ready for the surprise and ended up dieing because of it.

I have only upgraded one gun so far which was the type100, I want to upgrade the trench gun as it is supposed to be a 1 hit kill on zombies and dogs.

Also adding to the trench gun info you have to open a second door after the one up the ramp. The door is straight ahead on the right.

If anyone needs help on the fly trap trophy I can help with that aswell.

When we were playing last night, Andy aka Arcanine upgraded the trench gun and I'm pretty sure he wasn't too pleased with it... I can understand maybe using it for a window, but for anything more than that it's not worth the time or points IMO.

When you're at the 15-17, Arcanine, is that when the Hellhounds start appearing during Zombie levels?

I've made it to 13 on Solo, and 14 on Split-Screen. It's insanely hard. The time I got to 13, I had the FG42 and the Baracuda FU A11. Speed Cola, but not Jugger-nog. Hoping to get up that high again, but I want to get the Wunderwaffe DG-3 JZ this time.

Regarding the Fly Trap. Has anyone been able to find any more of the Monkey Bombs/Teddy Bears, other than the three we already know of? (The Teddy in the window of the building to the left of the Mainstream, the one in the cage, and the Monkey Bomb in the furnace.)
