Hello everyone, I am currently developing my fangame after a long break.
I designed a Pokémon, whose concept revolves around a martial adept who trained his mind and body alike to perfection. I want this Pokémon to check both of the enemy's defenses. If its physical defense is greater than its special defense, all of this Pokémon's moves become special category. All of them. Close combat? Special move. The same vice versa. More special defense? Flamethrower becomes physical.
Looking through the code, I realized that there is no handler for this type of ability, as it needs to check defenses every time a Pokemon enters battle AND a Pokemon increases or decreases a stat.
Does anyone have an idea on how to deal with this?
