Issue: Can't Edit VMs

    I can't edit Visitor Messages. I'm using Firefox. I don't know the version number but it's the latest one I believe. I don't know if I could edit them on other browsers as I don't have any. It's not a HUGE deal, but I did lose a small portion of content for a roleplay that I edited into a VM without realizing it didn't actually edit--it was merely a copy paste and I've long since copied other texts so it's gone.
     
    Currently it's Forever Standing, but I'm pretty sure its the same for all themes. I'll check that right now.

    EDIT: Just tried it on Caramel Sentret--the same thing. Although it did add """ to the end of the message.

    EDIT: I tried it on another theme--Bewitched and it worked. The difference this time was it did the "quick edit" as opposed to the one where it loads a new page. Okay, so then... if I go to the advanced edit it works perfectly normal. The condition where it doesn't work is when I click the edit button and it automatically goes to the "advanced edit" mode. Funnily enough as this testing it's working perfectly fine--but I tested it before I posted and in the first edit and it automatically went to the "advanced" edit as opposed to the quick edit when I clicked on it.

    EDIT: Last time. If I am on the person's profile it works fine. But if I am in the "view conversation" window that's when it automatically goes to the "advanced" edit and doesn't actually apply the edit.

    I tried using your theme. It works fine. If that happened once, I don't think that's already an issue
     
    It happens multiple times and I just tested it again and came to the conclusion that if you are in the "view conversation" where it automatically loads the new page for the edit that it won't actually work.

    Still, if this is an issue, we should do our best to solve it. If they don't come by, contact someone like abnegation or Hiroshi Sotomura. If it's a coding issue, they might be able to solve it if you explain to them what's going on via PM.

    It's happening to me too, so it's not an isolated case. Exactly as ANARCHit3cht describes: it's fine if I'm on the recipient's profile, but not when trying to edit in the conversation thread itself. I'm using Firefox and Chromatic, but it happens on any theme that I've tried over the past few days.
