Resolved: Can't get transparent avatar to work

Been trying to get this specific png to work but everytime I upload it from my computer, PC adds a white background on it for some reason, and that is not aesthetic.

So I try uploading the image to imgur to snag from there, but when I input the direct url, it says "Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file. " which I don't understand in the slightest. Same if I try other image hosts like imgbb.

    Can anyone help me out?

The avatar needs to be within the boundaries allowed, including resolution and filesize. If one of those is exceeded, then the forum software compresses it so that it does fit, thus often resulting in loss of transparency.

The dimensions allowed I think for your user group are 360x360 with a file size limit of 1 MB before the forum compresses it. Otherwise, if it's within those bounds, it should show as transparent. :>

Yooo this absolutely cleared it up then. No wonder I'm able to use small little Bulbapedia gifs without hassle lol. Thanks Mr. Tsutarja sir!
