Catching that Pokemon!

    What pokemon do you use to catch those 'hard to get' pokemon?!

    I perfer my Parasect with Spore and Falswipe!
     
    i use any pokemon with dragon rage because it takes 40 hp exactly.
    its good for those medium leveled and also if you can use thunder wave
     
    I usually use my in-game team to catch those hard pokemon. It's helpful. :)
     
    Parasect, huh? Good idea. I need to look into that. I used my ingame team to catch Uxie, Azelf and Giratina but I'm going to need something bigger to get the birds, Regis and Dialga and Palkia.
     
    My technique is using a good fast pokemon to knock my pokemon out in deep slumber, then I'll follow it up with False Swipes. To do this I usually use a pokemon like Gengar to put them asleep, then I switch into Zangoose to False Swipe it.
     
    Hmm since i didn't reach that far in platinum, it will probably be my ingame roserade. the easiest way is to get them to red and then inflict a status (it won't take 5 turns unless your team is level 50s) lets caculate. lets say, three turns passed. its on red and prlzd. quick ball would be the way to go. unless its a cave so dusk balls would be better after 5 turns..
     
    Meh. Normally I'll just paralyze them with Jolteon or put them to Sleep with Gengar, and then lower their health.

    252 EVs in ATK and Speed, Adamant nature.

    False Swipe
    Thunder Wave
    Spore
    Fly

    False Swipe for getting Pokemon down to 1 HP, TWave for faster Pokemon, Spore for fun-ness, Fly for obvious use.
     
    I just keep throwing balls at the pokemon untill I run out or my pokemon faint. When that happens I just soft reset it and start all over again :D
    I did that with a Mewtwo on FR and I SR and the first ball I chucked, I caught it! :D
    Plus you might come across a shiny legendary while doing it this way :P
     
    If I'm bored I use my Lvl 100 Chikorita.

    Otherwise I go with anything with false swipe.
