So basically ok I skipped around on Johto and Sinnoh but those arn't important.

I stopped watching Unova until they released the whole Team Plasma vs Team Rocket huge episodes that got delayed because of the earthquake. That never happened, did it? So I stopped like at the bug gym, and is it worth catching up? Is there just certain episodes I should watch?

Well... I know I rag on BW a lot but honestly the whole thing's a pretty good watch. Like I scrolled through the episode listing to get an idea of what you really should watch and I'm not finding much that's worth the bother of skipping. There are boring episodes floating around but really no bad arcs. And the way it's set up... there are a lot of recurring characters and it benefits you to watch everything, I think.

But here are some absolute must-sees from Unova:

BW026 - Scare at Litwick Mansion
BW032 - Facing Fear with Eyes Wide Open!
BW038 - Movie Time! Zorua in "The Legend of the Pokémon Knight"!
BW039-048 - Club Battle Tournament, then Meowth joins the twerps for a time.
BW062-064 - Crisis at Chargestone Cave!, Evolution Exchange Excitement!, Explorers of the Hero's Ruin!
BW069 - Climbing the Tower of Success!
BW078-079 - Guarding the Guardian of the Mountain!, Caution: Icy Battle Conditions!
BW085-097 - Yeah, it's a stretch, but contains Meloetta arc, Dawn's cameo, and a big tournament.
BW098-101 - Beauties Battling for Pride and Prestige!, A Surface to Air Tag Battle Team!, A Village Homecoming!, Drayden Versus Iris: Past, Present, and Future!

The Unova League was okay, but there were better tournaments. Episode N is pretty good (109-122), but Decolore not so much- it's fun, but filler with no overarching goal. But like I said, there's more of BW worth watching than not watching. I'd just see them all. Anyone else got anything to add? (No spoilers!)

You could watch subs; you're good on everything but the last few Decolore eps. tbh MamoMiya's voice is one of the keys to Dent's character and I do think losing that expressiveness is a problem. It's also a problem with other characters but he's the one I noticed it in most. The scripts of the dub are also rather stilted and awkward for some reason. idk I did my catch-up in mostly dub, and the voice acting wasn't horrible, but it certainly wasn't what it was in the original. so i rewatched ~80 episodes in japanese because i'm ridiculous For a saga so focused on characters, the portrayal is extremely important and I don't think the dub voices managed to capture their personalities very well.

EternallyAnna listed all of my favorites, but here are two more that I found interesting:
BW059 - Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 1
BW060 - Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 2
They feature the Kami Trio, but not in their Therian Forms. They basically rage on an island near Driftveil City because I forgot why...

I really like the Decolore episodes, although they're all fillers. The scenery is pretty and the episodes are just plain fun. It's definitely a good way to stall while we're all waiting for XY.

If you like Charizard, then you may want to watch the N/Plasma Arc after the Elite 4. Other than that, there really isn't much. Most of the season were tournaments, which I enjoyed a lot. You can look at Serebii episode guide and they have photos. They usually can give you an understanding what is going on in the episode.

There is also a few episode before the Poke League, where Giavonni returns. I think it is the first time Ash actually meets him other than in the special "Mewtwo Returns"

However, soon some of the new pokemon will be appearing in the Dub.

I also got a question should I watch the Sinnoh and Unova then watch Kalos
or should I just got to Kalos straight and start there?
I pretty much skipped in the Unova part
and didn't watch Sinnoh at all

Well, I skipped Sinnoh and jumped back in at Best Wishes. I decided to actually watch everything in my spare time though. It wouldn't be an issue if you decided to go straight to Kalos but I do recommend watching Sinnoh at least because it was really good. But if you want to keep up/stay current, don't try to watch everything before Kalos. There's way too much of it.

Sinnoh is 191 eps by itself and Unova is another 142. You're probably better off just jumping straight into Kalos and catching up on Sinnoh and Unova around episodes of XY. I jumped in around late DP arc and caught up with what I had missed in my spare time. 3 years later and the only part I'm missing now is part of BW Season 2 and whatever's not been dubbed and released in English yet from Decolora, but it took a while to catch up. If you tried watching them all from start to finish before watching Kalos, you'd be behind for years, probably throughout the entirety of Kalos.

Sinnoh is very long, for some reason it felt longer than other seasons and had so so many spoilers. The Kalos episodes will not start the dub, other than the sneak peak for another 8 to 10 weeks (Maybe a little less) because they have to finish up in De Islands. (They are already starting Kalos, but I myself ain't a fan of Jap version without subs.)

Best thing to do is probably watch the end of Sinnoh which is Pokemon: Sinnoh League Victors because a lot happens in those episodes. Unova like I said was mainly tournaments with a lot of battles, which I haven't finished watching all. I would say watch the last few arcs in Unova and you should be fine. That is about 80 to 100 episodes total.
