[Questions] CGC Grading

Hi. So I recently bought a 1st Edition Base Set Bulbasaur graded 9 by CGC. I will probably ultimately sell it.

What I know: CGC have been grading comic boks for years and seem to be the 'go to' grading company for them. They've only fairly recently moved into grading trading cards.

My question: What is CGC's reputation like for grading Pokemon cards? Should I keep it as it is or get it regraded by PSA?

As they've only recently moved into TCG grading, there is no reputation on their grading qualities yet.

I literally had never heard of them before your post.

I'd be hesitant to crack open any graded case because you do risk damaging the card inside the case.

Well, I ended up sending it to PSA.

Donavannj: I wouldn't open it; PSA do a crossover service, so I'll get it back with a nice new PSA case or still in it's CGC case.

Guess I'll find out in about a year, that's how long standard turnaround is taking at the mo.
