Challenge the Prism League!

Archer99 has replaced Ozymandias in the Showdown division. His types are Dark and Dragon. Welcome to the League!

Nothing to be upset about! You just have to work out the kinks! And I noticed that final battle, the Azumarill didn't want to go anywhere. You have absolutely no chance against the Fairy types, as both Dark and Dragon are weak to that; you have to install moves around your team that can deal with the most common threats, such as Poison, Grass, or Electric for Azumarill. :) Good battle strategy on the challenger's part, well-earned badge!

Well, here's an idea. Go through this list and analyze what you think you might face most commonly, and even scan existing teams to see some of what you're against. It will give you a good idea how to build your team to challenge your opponents. A good team will not necessarily win every battle, but will be able to win some battles and force challengers to think of a new strategy in dealing with your Gym!

I noticed that Archer swapped Greninja in for a free hit. I'm learning that is a very bad idea, as Greninja is frail and susceptible to quick kills. When it took the free OHKO, it gave Landorus all the room it needed to just spam Earthquake in the rest of the team. If brought in after another Pokémon fainted, it may have outsped Landorus and gotten in a strong Water attack on it, and it's a whole new battle.

while you are correct about never bringing in frail mons in when facing power houses like lando-t, ur wrong about greninja out-speeding my lando.

That part was speculation. I do know I personally have one of the fastest Greninjas around, so a slow team will not have a chance against it if I have the weaknesses covered.

No Gym Leader has the right to award himself his own Badge. It must still be earned through blood, sweat, and...blood.

Woo - nice, and congrats. But neigh, if you reach your own gym or elite position, you have to pick a sub to play your challenge team with your gym's type combo.

It's actually a pretty fun concept tho haha. I remember when zekrom subbed for me they actually ended up using 2 or so pokes I had on my team. Similar builds too, which was really one of those water temple shadow link moments

Are any 3DS division leaders still up and open for battle?
 
Sweet, so I guess ill face Archer tomorrow seeing as hes replaced Ozy. Then ill probably need someone to sub in my ice/normal gym I assumed that Id automatically get the badge. So ill need two more before challenging the elite four.
 
That was such a lame final battle :c I didn't consider who you had at all, and packed neither Vileplume, Venusaur, nor even Roserade. Nothing on that team could come into a scald from Tentacruel without hating it, and a common ground weakness on almost everything sealed the deal.

Congrats to Krystia though - nice job making it all the way! You definitely earned it ^^
