    It is kinda illegal. Not really, but still, do this at your own risk...

    Tutorial

    Tools Required:
    • Resource Hacker
    • An icon file - it must be a .ico file, .png will on work. Must be in your game's folder.

    Steps:
    • Open recourse hacker.
    • Do Ctrl-O and choose your Game.exe file.
    • Enter the 'Icon' folder.
    • Open the '1' folder (if it exists)
    • Right-click the first one and select 'Replace Resource...'
    • Now, navigate to your .ico file and select it.
    • Wait then Ctrl-S.
    • Restart your computer and boom! New icon.

    Most .png -> .ico conversion tools will make transparent backgrounds to white, beware of that.

    Alternatively, you can set up a shortcut with a custom icon. But the original Game.exe will still be there
