About a year ago or so, when I was reaaaaaaally bad I saw a pokescript tutorial that showed how to change the player OW in a script. I remember it being in a cave, and there was a fadescreen and something happened and the player turned into a rocket grunt. If I remember correctly, I tried it in a Ruby rom (it was a FR tutorial), and it worked perfectly fine. Sadly, that was quite a while ago and I lost that rom, and don't remember how to make a script like that. Sadly (again), the video was erased from YouTube, so if anyone knows how to make a script like that, please say so :), thanks. Also, it didn't require ASM.

I cant help you with that, but I remember seeing that exact same video
Remember it like it was yesterday
    Cerulean cave
He changed into a Rocket Grunt
    PurpleSonik418 was his name

Might you have a rom that had a script like that or something? Also I remember it having a few script tiles if I'm correct and they had a hidesprite on the rocket grunt.

You are correct, and unfortunaly, I don't
However, and I'm not sure at what point this would help you, but in Light Platinum, there's an ITEM, not script, item, that makes change sprite

That's just changed Acro Bike in Light Platinum. It can even jump.

And I wonder why PurpleSonik deleted his videos, they were good.
