So Lycan, about Seviper's ability in Shed Skin. I know it applies to Status conditions and the traditional ones are Frozen, Burn, Paralysis, Poison(which cant happen since it's a Poison Type) and Sleep. Based on PMD, they'd be removed in 1-3 turns but my question is regarding being Slowed from Icy Wind. Would it's ability apply here as well or not?

It's a better strategic move, especially since Lycan clarified the Shed Skin factor. That way if we fail to KO Seviper(which I believe we will KO it if everything goes as planned), then Seviper won't be able to slip by up the Mountain. The other risky move is putting Simisear to Sleep but we haven't failed in buying ourselves extra time. Even if it's a Round, it's priceless since it means we got a round to focus on the underlings. Less enemies means more attention can be put on the Boss.

We do have a Revival Herb in our back pocket we could use and I've advocated using it to bring you back. Any thoughts on it seeing as you'd be the one directly affected by it? The reason I'm advocating it is the fact your Lily has the best means of incapacitating Simisear, even if it's for 1 round, with Sleep Powder. Susato could put Simisear to Sleep with Secret Power(if the terrain happens to be Grass...) but that is a 30% chance compared to 75% chance with Sleep Powder. Plus if you are brought back, you could be of great help in taking Liepard or Aipom down the following round while Simisear sleeps.

However, as I've already stated, if you don't want to be revived, I'd be ok with that. Further complicating it is whether you'd be able to act this round upon Revival. Getting clarification on it just to clear it up but if there's a delay in you acting then we may be better off not utilizing the Revival Herb.

If there's no delay, then I agree 100%. I'm almost positive that Simisear has a 2nd Fire move to go along with something non-Fire related like Bite. May also include item-based attacks that Team A has had to deal with. I'm almost positive that you can act immediately upon revival but I've already inquired about the revival process. If it turns out that you can't act, then it would be best to forego doing so since Susato(who holds the Revival Herb) happens to be the only one left who could stop Simisear in his tracks with the secondary effect of Secret Power. If I were still around, I could have used Fire Spin but Mr.Mime's Filter really came in handy for Lycan and I paid the price.

All we need is for Simisear to fall asleep for Round 7 and not wake up until Round 8 or later. By then we ought to have finished off one or both of the remaining minions and could put more attention on KOing the boss. Another reason I'd like to revive you is because you have one use of Ice Cream left that could come in handy in quickly reducing Simisear's HP.

Oh and by the way, you don't have to stand in a square adjacent to the one where Lily died to revive her. Using the Herb will revive her into an adjacent square. I'm to lazy to keep track of where everybody fainted. :] Not sure how you interpreted the description, but I thought I should tell you.

Ah well that is nice to know but I don't think it changes much because even though I could block Simisear from moving an inch, I'd also be putting Susato in harms way from being put to Sleep by the very same act meant for Simisear. So instead, I'll make the smart move and avoid friendly fire but if our Sleep Powder were to fail, Lily would likely fall to an Ember(if it has it) or survive a Flame Burst(or whatever non-Fire move it has). That being said, I'm going to change Susato's spot for Plan A and unless I get an objection, I'd like to go with said plan in Spoiler below.

Not to be a thorn in the side but how exactly did Aipom reach K7 from N4 with 6 movement? N -> K is 3 and 4 to 7 is 3 but there's just one problem(or several). The Tree that occupies a 2x3(or 3x2 depending on how you look at it) block at K4-K6 and L4-L6, the obstacle at M7 and Mercy at L7. I've been looking at it and I'm like... how the bloody hell does he reach K7? Is K6 and L6 passable because that's the only thing that would allow Aipom to get there. Until a clarification is issued, I'll have to assume what transpired is the law of the land and move on but, that still doesn't sit well. Anyways, boss is asleep, buying us valuable time. Due to where Aipom happens to be means we can't KO Aipom this round with Unicorn. As a result, I think she'd be best served sprinting to the Flower at J8 to be in position to attack it the following turn. Mercy can either attack with Feint Attack(since Ghost doesn't work on Normal), use Double Team to become harder to hit with Astonish(a move Aipom can learn) or use Mimic to copy Swift. Can also sprint to D9 and heal on the flower before moving north to start attacking the boss. Glacier can move to K8 and use Powder Snow, Feint Attack or Icy Wind on Aipom(leaning Icy Wind to limit its movement should it live). Lily should use her last use of Magical Leaf on Liepard while Alex attacks with Swift. Combined that ought to be enough to KO it. Susato can begin pounding Simisear with Secret Power from C15 while Robin moves closer to Simisear to use its last use of Hidden Power in Round 9. It won't be effective since Fire resists Ice but its a Rn1* move allowing it to hit diagonally. So here's what I'm thinking:

Well I definitely don't want to leave Mercy to fight off that Aipom completely on his own, so I'll say Glacier moves to M8 to wait for Aipom. We should be able to handle Aipom between the two of us, and regardless of which direction it goes in it'll be vulnerable to attacks on the next round.

oh crap, I think I just looked at the wrong player phase map and still saw Aipom way down below us. Well yeah, going to K8 is definitely the better option considering where Aipom actually is. New plan: Glacier moves to K8 and uses Icy Wind on Aipom.

Even though I am positive that I answered questions about the tree squares earlier (and have put enemies in such squares in Ch.1), I couldn't have assumed everybody to remember every detail. I guess this isn't really a satisfying answer to you. On the other hand I don't really feel like changing all that at this point.

I figured as much but I don't recall that being a factor in Chapter 1. Suppose I'll have to review that at some point. In any case, thanks for clarification. Anyways, let's see if our compatriots can post their moves. My plans aren't foolproof and people can do as they wish but I find attacking beats most moves any day of the week unless they use Protect, Counter or Mirror Coat.

Edit* Loking back at Chapter 1, the trees were different and had a much more defined radius or to put it differently, we knew what squares they blocked. Chapter 3 isn't as defined so I thought K6 and L6 were impassable.
