Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

yea u should ok ill say it i think the original is better ;)

I've seen it three times so far...and if things work out, will be seeing it a fourth with Triffy. xD *loser*

My favourite quote? Definitely at the end.

Grandma Georgina: You smell like peanuts...I like peanuts.
Wonka: You smell like old people...and soap. ...I like it.

Or something like that. xD It's so awesome.

is it good......

no

After watching the dvd on my tv, I decided it was pretty good but it would never replace the old one. The old one had an irriplaceable feeling to it.
Plus they cut out that scene where the grandpa and Charlie were floating up in that tower and I really liked it.
The remake was so-so.

I watched it,but I didn't really like it.I loved the 1st one,but this one,umm,I don't know,I just didn't enjoy(Spelling?) it.

Johnny Depp is out there... Good movie, though.

Finally! I reached and found that topic! ^^

I absolutely looooved the film. I havent seen the old one yet, but Im sure willing to. I have no doubt that its gonna be awesome.
Im a fan of Tim Burton and I love his movies, and he did an amazing job in this one. Johnny did look different, probably because of the make up (XD) but he still did a fabulous job in his role.
I am going to buy the soundtrack for sure, Im so stuck on the songs XD.
Apart from being a really exciting film it was also funny. Me and my friend were laughing like idiots with the oompa loompas XD. They did freak me out a bit, but thats better ^^. I cannot speak my opinion about the old one, cause I havent seen it yet, like Ive said before. But I bet its gonna be asgood as you guys say it is.

I have to add, that, from the moment I saw it, it was placed in my list of favourite movies =).
