    Hello there! Feeling lost in the ocean of RPs here? Subscribe to this thread to always see (on your Dashboard/subscribed threads list) when there are new roleplays to join!

    As you have probably learned already from reading the Roleplay Rules, new roleplays are always posted in Roleplay Casting first, in order to gather players, and then in Roleplay Stage in order to start the actual roleplaying. Basically, when the moderators check the subsections and there are newly submitted threads by you, we will make a new post here and state whether or not your thread was approved.


    If your thread is approved, it will now be visible on the index and ready for you and other people to post in. Hooray!


    If your thread is denied, we may post a few sentences here on what could be improved. In ROLEPLAY CASTING it's most often because of one or several of the following reasons:

    - No rating? All RPs must have a rating. Re. Mem. Ber.

    - Too short plot? Your background story/plot/setting should really span at least a couple of paragraphs. Extremely short info texts usually don't let potential roleplayers know what they can expect from the roleplay!

    - Does your background actually act as good enough background info? Does it tell your roleplayers where the roleplay takes place, what the goal or purpose of the RP is, why their character might potentially be involved...? Double-check that you're not leaving things too open from the start!

    - ROLEPLAY STAGE: Did you forget the player list? In order to get an In-Character thread approved, you need to provide a player list in the IC or OOC thread with at least 4 accepted players! That can of course include yourself, though.​


    This means, don't ask the moderators via VM/PM to check on your submitted thread; if your thread doesn't show up for a while, you can check this thread to see if it was denied and what the major reason is.

    If you want more detailed feedback on your thread, after it's been denied in this thread, then you can PM the moderator about it and we'll happily help you out!

    If your RP is denied, you may fix what we have pointed out here (or in a PM if you asked for one) and then re-post it where it belongs and hope to be accepted the second time. Your RP is not less worthy just because it took a couple of rounds to get through - it might even be better than average since you've fixed it up!

    luckgandor's RP is denied in Roleplay Casting.
    You have a rating and a sign-up sheet alright, but the plot and setting description is way too short (111 words). I get that the point of the RP is for the player to travel through the pass and for some event to happen there. But what is the story behind The Pass? Why is it a ritual for trainers to go through, and to leave their region rather than to travel around it? What is special about Hoko? If players are supposed to assume the role of a trainer who knows very well that this is tradition, they probably want to know why too. Players just want to be a bit more prepared (: For examples of what a decent background looks like, check out RPs such as this, this and this.

    Once you have built a more substantial background text for your RP, you are welcome to submit it again in Roleplay Casting! There is absolutely no penalty for having to submit a RP several times before it goes through. Rather, you have the benefit of getting help from the moderators in fleshing it out~!
     
    Residay's Epidemic is approved in Roleplay Casting!
    It sure is different from what we usually do here... But if you think that you can abide by the rules of the RPT (such as RPing should happen in a Roleplay Stage thread, all in-character posts need to be minimum 100 words) then good luck! If not, it's better if you host it in The Playground section instead (:
     
    hoshiko's thread Nightmare Oblivion has been moved to Roleplay Theatre.
    You'll need more of a plot and setting to present for your players before you make an OOC thread!

    CatmanDaGamer's THE CHRONICLES OF THE HILOBLISTH is approved in Roleplay Casting!
     
    Mewtwo1140's Pokemon: Blue Star Edition is declined. You've got the general gist of things but you need to include a bit more information about the region, the way your RP works and your story (if there is one). I suggest taking a look at some of our handy guides as well at some of the accepted RPs. Good luck!
     
    Ice's Of Mice & Magic has been approved in Roleplay Casting!

    Chemist Wooper's RP has been denied in Roleplay Casting and moved to Roleplay Theatre.
    You should take a look at some other RPs to see how they present their setting, gameplay and plot. Currently, you only tell us a tiny bit about one character. Think about the setting a bit more and make sure that the players know enough to be able to create believable characters who live there! Think up a reason for the player characters to head into the plot and adventure. I put your post in the Roleplay Theatre with a Help prefix to let others give you hints and help for how to build up the start of your RP. If you want, feel free to re-submit a bulkier version of your RP when you feel ready (:
     
    shatteredxfrost's Darkest It Can Be is accepted.

    Chemist Wooper's Glacella Chronicles is denied for now. You've got the right idea but it'd be helpful to players if you described the region in greater detail and went into your lore a little more. You should also make sure to tell people how your RP actually works - is it sandbox? Chapter based? What are the mechanics?
