Choose - Your own adventure! [Hoenn]

We need a grass type Pokémon now, so Treecko will be my choice seen as it has the advantage over types of Pokémon that are plentiful at that stage ^_^

To make this short and sweet, I'll say Treecko :).

Treecko is somewhat cute XD.

Bet on Treecko!
You decide to bet your TM chances on Treecko. The roulette spins and spins... and ends up on Marill. Damnit. No TM today. You reluctantly decide to leave. It wasn't a total loss, as you were able to spend your coins on a Full Restore, but that Ice Beam TM looked good...
You head back outside and realise it's already afternoon. You probably only have enough time to visit one more place before the Gym challenge? Where do you want to go?

Your Options
-The Pokemart, to stock up on items.
-The Winstrates, for training.

Pokemart :).

I like making these decisions quick and easy. XD

Visit the Pokemart!
You decide against training, and chose to stock up on items for your Gym battle instead. Walking inside, you see a variety of items on the wall. You hear the Gym leader uses electric Pokemon, so you get 2 Parylz Heals, along with 5 Potions and a Great Ball for later.
You stroll over to the Gym, walk inside and meet Wattson the Gym Leader.

"Wahaha! You wanna challenge me, kid? You're on!" You're extremely nervous for your first Gym battle. Deep breaths - in, out, in, out. Wattson kickstarts the battle with his Voltorb.

You sigh in relief as you realise this one doesn't have any electric moves - for your team, electric is very very bad.
Which Pokemon will you use?

Your Options
-Use Mudkip
-Use Tailow

Mudkip. We need to save Tailow for later, when he will use Pokémon with electric attacks.

Send out Mudkip!
"Mud, kip!" says Mudkip as it emerges.
"An interesting choice." says Wattson, "Voltorb, Screech! Lower their defences!" You wince as the soundwave hits you and Mudkip.
"Mudkip! Mud-Slap!" you call as Mudkip races for Voltorb. Wattson smiles.
"Voltorb... dodge." All of a sudden Voltorb speeds away from Mudkip.
"Whoa! That thing's fast!" you exclaim.
"Yup. Back when there were only 150 known Pokemon, Voltorb's evolution, Electrode was known to be the fastest Pokemon. Naturally, Voltorb shares that speedy trait. Tackle!" Voltorb came out of no where and slammed Mudkip. "Again! And again!" Voltorb kept speeding to Mudkip and slamming him before speeding away in another direction. You can barely follow where the hits are coming from.
"Mud-Slap!" you yell desperately, but it's clear that Mudkip just does not have the speed to hit Voltorb. Voltorb Tackles Mudkip again and the battered Mudkip lands at your feet. One more Tackle will take it out. A good solid Mud-Slap or Water Gun would do some nice damage against Voltorb, but Mudkip is a lot slower than Voltorb. Tailow's attacks would be weaker, but it's faster than Mudkip and might be able to keep up with Voltorb. Or you could try a Potion and hope Mudkip lands a hit this time. What will you do?

Your Options:
-Mud-Slap!
-Switch to Tailow
-Use a Potion

O_o Switch to Taillow than?

If we really wanted to do this, we should of chose Taillow to begin with, becuase now Taillow could recieve and attack from Voltorb.

But oh well.

Switch to Tailow
You decide that Mudkip is no match for the speedy Voltorb, so you switch out to Tailow.
"Tailow! Quick Attack!"
"Voltorb! Tackle!" The two Pokemon slammed into each other and sent each each other reeling backwards. The two Pokemon slam each other over and over, until Tailow finally delivers a knock-out blow on Voltorb, and both your Pokemon level-up, and Tailow learns Wing Attack. You look at Tailow - although it seems happy that it won, you can see that it is totally exhausted. This is bad - both Mudkip and Tailow are tired and Wattson still has a Pokemon up his sleeve.
"Kudos for you for taking out Voltorb." he says, "But this fight's only just getting started. Manetric!" He throws a Poke Ball and a Manetric emerges.

______________
"Manetric at Lv16?" you wonder, "But Electrike doesn't evolve until level 26!" The smile disappeared off Wattson's face.
"Ah, yes..." he says grimly, "One day I came across a villainous gang - Team Magma, I think they were called - setting up shop near Mauville. I took those thugs out and found this little guy. They were doing some experiments on Pokemon, and this underlevelled Manetric is the result. But he's not just a lab experiment any more - now he's my best fighter!"
This is bad - this thing has an electric attack and both of your Pokemon are tired. What will you do?

Your Options
-Tailow, mega-swift Quick Attack! Dodge that electric attack!
-Switch to Mudkip, and Mud-Slap!
-Use a Potion on Tailow.
-Use a Potion on Mudkip

We might as well sacrifice Taillow, since it'll probably faint either way. And we still have Mudkip after that :).

Tailow, mega-swift Quick Attack! Dodge that electric attack!

That's a rather long winded order, but you understand the idea of it. And as said above, we may as well sacrifice Tailow and weaken the Manectric in the process, then let Mudkip reel of something else.
