    Does it depress you? When ever i listen to Christmas Music before christmas i feel depressive...and sometimes i cant help my sefl! Like Every Little Thing's Silent Night is sooooooo nice....yet so depressing....am i the only one this happens to?

    Thats the most depressing of all! Think about it.....nice music.....which symbolises such a nice time...which isnt now! :'(

    I like Christmas music, lol. To me, it's not very depressing; but, it's just meant to be very slow and soothing. I do agree that some are a tad on the depressing side like: "Last Christmas (I Gave You My Heart)" and "The Christmas Shoes". Those are pretty sad, but I like listening to all kinds...it just puts you in the mood for the holiday.

    Christmas music, depressing? I find it quite uplifting and peaceful o_O

    Per chance have you had a bad experience in December before?

    NO.......christmas is always good for me....but just thinking that it is a long time till it comes around again is depressing... XD lol

    Yes, it is the happiest season of all, ne? But all seasons are generally happy, even if they're not as joyful as the Christmas season...just content yourself with things to look forward to like vacations and birthdays ^_^ (I guess we wish for Christmas this month because it's so darned hot x_x )

    HOt? You dont live in the north east of england do you? :P

    Eh, you Britons are lucky, you don't have summers that are as hot as ours...if it wasn't for there being nothing there, I'd probably live in northern Scotland in summer x_x;;

    Woah, freaky...I found this thread while listening to christmas music! XD Well, it doesn't depress me, but I cry sometimes while listening to it...'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas' makes me cry sometimes because my dad used to always sing it so it makes me think of him, and it makes me think of Christmas in Kodiak, Alaska. In my opinion, there's no better place to spend the holidays, because there's always guarenteed to be friends, family, and snow. ^^
    My dad died the day after Christmas in 2002, but thankfully christmas carols don't make me think of that at all ^^
    I love songs like 'Let it snow!' because theyre so cheery and 'I'll be home for christmas' makes me ingine my dad coming home from work (he was an Alaska State Trooper, so he'd leave for about 3 months a year, usually different times of year) in Kodiak late at night while snow is coming down....^__^
    And I like 'It's a Marshmallow World' because it's so darn cheery and uplifting, and it makes me think of my 5th grade christmas program (We sang that song for it, and it was funny in my opinion because some of the kids had to wear white shirts stuffed with pillows XD)

    *walks off singing 'It's a Marshmallow world'* It's a marshmallow world in the winter in the winter, when the snow comes a tumblin' down...Hm hm hmm.. XD

    last august i decorated my room with christmas stuff and listened to christmas music and turned on a fan really high. it was awesome. i still have the top of my bookshelf dedicated to christmas decorations. i listen to some weird christmas music though... last winter i created an intense collection of christmas songs done in obscure genres. rudolph the red nosed reinder done with death metal is one of my favorites, just because it's so funny.

    interesting............you should have covered the floor in polestirine balls for snow ;)
