Ey, fellows. Vorteld here. After my failure with PokéOps (well, it was too unorganized), I've decided to bug you with a new RP creation. I'll use the same region, but this time we'll have a journey-and-chapter RP! I hope you will enjoy this thing:​

The Chunao Journey- In the footsteps of Magic (G-RATED)​

SETTING- THE REGION OF CHUNAO​

Chunao is a region to the south of the Pokémon world. It coasts aremostly long, sandy beaches, and inland the summer is long and hot while the winter is mild and snow-less. Rolling hills and plains share space with small lakes and leafy forests. The wildlife is blooming here, and the sea is a cornocupia of Pokémon and animals. ​

People crowd together in towns and cities. Of course, Chunao's best-known feature is the Pokémon Utopia, Polytropolis. Other notable places in Chunao is the sprawling Sandman Desert, with blazing hot temperatures and sand as far as the eye can see, as well as the Magic Forest, with its winding paths and gnarled oaks.​

Pokémon from every region can be found here, and the people of Chunao knows to appreciate them. Nearly everyone is a trainer, a coordinator, or a breeder- if you don't have a Pokémon, you almost goes as disabled. For what could be better than scaling mountains with your trusted Lucario? Or scuba diving with a Seaking? Or just chasing your happy Jumpluff over a field where the Belossom dances? For the Chunaoians, nothing.​

Here is the region map. Yes, it IS done in Paint, and yes, I AM a horrible artist. Sue me. ​

PRE-HISTORY- A WIZARD'S DREAM COMES TRUE​

Ever since Chunao was a young region, ever since humans settled there, there was some individuals that were different from others. They had the abillity to change natural laws and logic itself. They could create many strange effects by unraveling and reweaving the fabric of time and space itself. We would know them as wizards. Fortunelately, the gift of magic also seemed to bestow understanding on its holder. No wizard ever attempted to drastically change the world or abuse his or her powers. They kept their powers very secretive, and for a long period, each wizard in the world thought he or she was the only one. But eventually, they found each other. And when they found out they were much stronger when working in collusion, they allied themselves into two factions. The Wizards Of The Sea wanted to use their powers to keep the world safe, while The Wizards Of The Wood wanted to use their gifts for more personal gains. Many a conflict sparkled between them, but they soon learned to settle down,as they could not afford losses. ​

After the third generation of wizards, the number of magical births plummeted. No one could explain it, but none of the little boys and girls seemed to have any potential for magic anymore. This both saddened and scared the wizards, as they feared that their ancient orders would dissappear. However, the Wizards Of The Wood discovered the secret of drastically slowing the aging process in their bodies, giving them insane longevities. But they refused to share the secret with the Wizards Of The Sea. And such, the latter one slowly dwindled in numbers, while the Wizards Of The Wood still stood strong in their base, the isolated town of Waldburg​

As things were, all of the wizards had a common problem. They were unable to interact with Pokémon in general. For some reason, the creatures shunned anyone with magic blood in their veins. The wizards envied the normal people for this, as they thought it was meant to be. But one day, a Wood Wizard discovered a spell which would allow any wizard to befriend the many sopecies of Pokémon. After a long discussion abou the moral principles, the wizards decided to cast the spell. They worked on it over the next year, and the casting left nothing to complain about; all the wizards of Chunao could now keep and raise Pokémon. Even the Wizards of the Sea.​

Then, a few years later, one of the wizards realised that Pokémon was power. His vision was a world ruled by wizards, as to ensure the best for everyone. His fellow Wizards Of The Wood agreed on this, and carefully laid their plan. Working against all the core principles of magic, they wanted to change the world to their own good. Unfortunelatly, they had forged a good plan, and they had the power to fulfil it. The weaving of the spells took over six years this time, but it was well worth it.​

One fateful night, the wizards put their plan into action. A magical storm swept over Chunao. Every Gym Leader, Elite Four member AND the Champion was silently spirited away. And as the wizards rushed to take their place, the memories of the sleeping Chunaoians was subtly altered. When they awoke, everything was as normal in their eyes. The Wizards Of The Wood had taken thir first step towards ruling Chunao. They had even created an evil organization, Team Mistral, which seeks to gain even more Pokémon for theirr mystical masters.​

However, while the Wood Wizards were busy building up to the night, there was a man, the last remaining Sea Wizard, who dicovered that he miraclously could interact with Pokémon. He became an expert on the creatures, and is today known as Professor Orchard. He even adopted a small orphaned boy, and was flabbergasted to discover he posessed magical powers as well. When the Wood Wizards couped the important Pokémon jobs, Professor Orchard knew all too well what was happening. He is arranging for them to fall,but he cannot do it alone....​

THE PLOT​

You are a young kid living in the Rockpoint Town, a small village well known as a great bathing and diving spot. Today is a big day, for today you are about to recieve your very first Pokémon from Professor Orchard. You know Pokémon well, but have never owned one yourself. With your new friend you will travel across Chunao, make new friends, battle Gym Leaders as you climb the ladder towards the Chunao League. One of the rookie trainers is Arthur, Professor Orchards adopted son. Perhaps you'll loearn to know him better too? Needless to say, you are filled with exitement! A new adventure awaits!

1.All PC rule apply, of course. This is an E-rated RP.
2.STAY ACTIVE! If you're signing up for this RP, you ARE signing up for this RP knowing that five days of inactivity will give you a warning, and a week will make me kick you. Please tell me if you leave for an extended period of time.

4.Try to add some substance to your posts.
5.I am the RP master, and whatever I say goes. I decide on moves and evolution.
6.Put «Gentlemen wear hats» into the beginning of your SU to show me you have actually read this.

Name: Refr HALLVARÐR

Age: 14

Gender: male...

Appearance: It is unknown why or how his hair got this way, But somehow, It is Grey. he also has stabing Ice-blue eyes and a slightly tan skin tone. Across his face are many scars from his hands on training with his Hoothoot.

He wears combat boots(dont ask, wont tell...), a nicely made parachuter jacket with fuffly warm lining, and a scarf that when unrolled, is really a big map. He has black fingerless gloves and a black bandana that has many cuts in it, along with a pair of sunglasses that look to change from Red to Purple depending on how you look at them.

Personality: Refr is a wandering kid whom doesnt like people too much, infact he tends to stay away from large groups. And as such he will stay away from large citys, only entering them if deemed it is NEEDED! Though he stays away from large citys he likes to hang out in small towns that have few people in them, like Twinleaf or Newbark, and has been know to sleep in a hammock behind the Pokemon centers. Even though he doesnt stay in one area too long, he has E-Mail. Telling people that he only has it for weather updates.

Refr, though not likeing MOST people will sometimes fall into his human side and gain friends and will do anything to help them. He is an honest "man" that will return a favor when ever asked. Which is part of the reason he is on this new land. Even though at first glance it will look like he is an Emotionless dirtbag with no heart(95% true...) he does have a soft spot for outcasts, It is not known why.

Refr is a brave, Devoted kid, and when he starts a mission, He will see it through the end. But he knows when to retreat, and when to stand firm. His temper has a very, very long fuse, and once that fuse is done then nothing will stop his rampage.

History: Refr was an orphan you see and thought that he had no purpose, no meaning, no use... to him this was worse than death. He found his Hoothoot when he was eight when it was hurt. After rushing it to the local pokemon center quickly left it there, but it soon followed him. Though this did bother him some, Refr soon relised that he had been the only one at the orphanage without a pokemon for many years. At first the unlikely pair were always staring each other down over something(most of the time the chess board...), they soon learned that they both liked things Simple, and not as much as his Caretakers, doing things, Slowly.

At ten Refr begain to wander with his friend, after a well planed break out of the building that had provided a home for his life until then. But he was determined that he could find purpose out there, Somewhere, Eventuly. After many years of wandering through Marshs, Deserts, Blizzerds,, Forests, and grasslands, he made it here.

Even though he started his travels nearly four years ago, He has gone to the Four major regions staying at least a year there before moving to another.(your thinking, Why doesnt he have lots of pokemon? well he just didnt like the idea of more having to carry more weight.)

Name: Sapphire Joyce Malex
Gender: female
Age: 15
Appearance, clothing and equipment: Sapphire has deep sapphire blue eyes. Her hair is long and silky and a golden brown colour. Her skin is quite pale, but it looks almost like it has been painted with a silver powder if she sits in the moonlight. She is quite short for her age, but makes up for it in her breasts. They are not exactly massive, but are above average size. She wears a long white dress that has a royal blue flame pattern at the bottom. It reaches to just above her knees.

The Dress is tight fitting at the top, but it flows out beautifully at the bottom. Her whole Appearance is one of elegance. She is normally wearing a smile, and doesn't believe in hiding behind a fake face of makeup. Around her neck she wears a Pokéball as though it was a necklace. On her feet she wears white flipflops.

Personality: Naivé and caring. A sucker for romance. She will stand up for what she believes in, but if a good looking guy waltz over to her and plays his charm card, she is completely won over by him. Sapphire tries her best to help those around her, and tries to keep up a high social status. Most of the time she gets pushed away, as she comes across as too nosey or, annoying.

Sapphire never means to be anything but helpful, but her temper is quite short. Get on the wrong side of her, and it's farewell for your head's connection with your body. Even though she tries to hide the extremely violent side to her, through this friendship and helping/caring attitude, it's not very easy for her, and she normally ends up failing miserable at it.

History: She lived a very detached life from anything that was magical in the world. She didn't believe in any magic or Aura users. She frowned upon those who told her they were deeply into magic. She tried her hardest to grow up away from all the magical rumours, but in the end she caved in. She became friendly and endured all the magical stories, even though she despised them so much.

When Sapphire was born, there was something odd about her. She was pretty normal, but people started to speculate rumours about her. All because of her eyes being such a deep and dark blue. People claimed that the child Sapphire was possessed by spirit Pokémon, all that if you looked into her eyes too long she would capture your soul. Sapphire just ignored the rumours and lived her life normally, just naming the people 'idiots'.

Name: Luke "Ice" Gold
Gender: male
Age: 15
Appearance, clothing and equipment: Luke has very light blue eyes, almost like they're white. His hair is short, light brown with blue highlights. His hair slightly falls over his left eye, but not completely. Luke is very proud of his hair and he uses a lot of gel every morning. His skin is very pale, and when he is surprised he looks like he saw a ghost, or better said that he looks like he is a ghost. He is 6 feet tall and he weights 147 lbs. Luke almost always wears his purple-white jacket with moon symbol on the back. The moon is designed like a crescent filled with very bright white color.

He is very fond of his jeans and since he got them this year, he does not leave anywhere without them. His jeans are red and they fit Luke like they were created for just him to wear them. He also wears his white high-top shoes and a white cap with a moon symbol. The moon on the cap is designed the same way as the one on his jacket, except this one is black in color. He always has his sunglasses in his jacket's pocket in winter and on his eyes in summer. Under the jacket he wears white tank-top, which has number 7 drawn on it's background. He wears a necklace with a picture of his whole family (while it was still together) inside, this picture was took merely few weeks before his father passed away, that's something he will take care of the most from his belongings.

Personality: Loyal, brave, charming and quiet at the times. One of those people who will do anything to save his friends and his beloved ones. He knows when it's time to talk and when to fight. He is usually easily accepted in groups of people, but he doesn't that often participate in planning the next move for something, he rather sits back and rest for the upcoming things. When talking about scary things, that doesn't concern Luke, he is very brave and he doesn't think anything can be scarier than the lunch made by his mother.

In very many things he is rather quiet than active, he likes to let other people do the planning and not get involved in that, 'cause he doesn't want the opposite thoughts lead to a fight in the group. But if there is dangerous things ahead, and everyone needs to be maximally focused, he will be, you can count on it. His is always charming and shows good manners, that makes him very popular among girls.

History: He lived a life of a normal kid, until his father died when he was six. His brother went traveling with his Pokemon to Kanto a year later. Because of all this, his mother had to start working, so Luke had to learn how to take care of himself, learn to clean, cook and all other sorts of things. His life now mostly contains from playing basketball with his friends, studying and cleaning up the house. Luke was always interested in Pokemon, his knowledge of Pokemon basics is very good, but he never had any Pokemon on his own. When he was eleven, one week before Christmas, he won a bet he made with his friends that he will make it through one cold night without any equipment, just his clothes. After that everyone calls him Ice.

But back when his father was passing away he said to Luke: "....make me proud....". This really hit Luke hard, even if he was only 6 at the time. All of the Pokemon his father had, his brother Rick took with him to travel around Kanto. His brother also said: "Don't try to contact me... I don't have any time for you on my journey" before he left. His mother was devastated by that, and now that time came for Luke to get his Pokemon, she was strongly against that. She was obviously afraid of losing Luke too. But Luke said to her only one thing that made her change her mind: "I have to do this, for my father and brother, I want to make them both proud of me... and I want you too to be proud of me, mom..."
