Cloverfield-What really IS it? Or...what are THEY?-

I loved the movie, tbh. ._.

The conceptual art that people keep blasting at us looks nothing like the actual monster. Did anyone catch the little splash in the water at the end of the movie? It wasn't really an explanation, or an origin, but it kind of gives you an idea of where the "Cloverfield" came from.

I'm still recovering from the horrible camera style that was used, but... aside from that, I enjoyed the movie. It was a good way to kill a couple of hours, anyway. XD It didn't exactly have the deepest storyline, and left the audience with about a thousand unanswered questions, but it was still worth seeing (in my opinion) just to find out what the monster was.

I think my brother enjoyed it more than I did, but that's probably because he had been looking forward to it for months. I just don't understand how he thought the shaky camera was cool, and made the movie "more realistic". Weirdo. XD

I went to see this two days ago. The handheld camera angles were horrible to watch in my opinion. I didn't get motion sickness or nausea, but it was hard to keep up with it. The monster was alright... it reminded me a lot of the Godzilla movie definitely, although much weirder. And I was expecting a bit more from the ending to be honest, like an aftermath explanation or something.

And wtf with how the monster just suddenly decide to leap twice its height into the sky to attack the helicopter after being bombarded with missiles???

Yes... it just happened to know where it was.

Well, according to Abrams, the monster slept underwater for thousands of years until a falling satellite from the Slusho company awakened it. o_O

I haven't seen it yet. I've been told it wasn't that good, so I'll probably just wait until it comes out on DVD or something.
