Cloverfield-What really IS it? Or...what are THEY?-

    Hmm..Cloverfield. Cloverfield has been keeping me in confusion every since that day at the Transformers movie..I mean, what in the world IS that monster..or is it Monsters? Is it gonna be a very scary movie, or another movie that is a cool science fiction movie? Is it Godzilla? The answer, I know, is NO. But who ever said it couldn't be Zilla? Hmm..? J.J Abrams has been said to of said "The monster will be a completely original monster" but that is False. On his trip to Japan he said this:
    "We need a monster.
    "King Kong? King Kong is adorable...
    "Godzilla? Godzilla is a very charming monster, But no.

    So, he never said an ORIGINAL monster. Now anybody who doesn't know the difference from Zilla (The American Godzilla) and Godzilla, here a some pics:

    But wait, there is more..If you watch one out of the three TV Commercials, towards the end a it shows a hospital filled with people, and a girl and then a hospital nurse goes "We have a bite!"...Bite? Wouldn't Zilla or some bigger monster like, devour them whole? Hmm..Maybe If it is Zilla, when it was produced at the end of the Movie "Godzilla" from '98, an egg was left from the explosion. If it was possible, maybe the Explosion had some biological effects, almost like the one that formed Zilla at first, gave it defects and possibly also produced some parasites, and they go loose with Zilla? Or would this New Monster (If JJ Makes one) has parasites stuck to it? And then they take her into a tent and her body, it like...Expands? Maybe it feeds off of humans, but it doesn't kill them. But the human they fed off of like..implodes? O_o

    Well, only 18 days. Can't wait.
     
    I want to see this movie for the sole reason that I want to know what this monster is. But then again, what if the movie turns out to be horrible like I Am Legend and I waste some well earned money? Hmm.. Well, I got 18 days to think this out.
     
    I Am Legend was horrible. I hope Cloverfield is NOTHING like it.

    But..could this possibly be about Aliens or something? Because the government has many experiments code named "Cloverfield"
     
    It's probably gonna turn out to be really stupid. It's like when you would see the alien movies back in the day, and you had to wait half the movie to see what they really look like. Then you saw it and it ended up being some bug monster or something really cheesy.
     
    He did say that he wanted this monster to be "insane and intense," something different from King Kong and/or Godzilla. But I think it's safe to say that his inspirations came from the toy store in Japan.
     
    Great. So it's probably gonna be some kind of giant robot...

    I was thinking, maybe the giant robots from the Company that is, I think Sponsoring Cloverfield, Bad Robot. :P

    Nah. But it is also a bit odd, that the day after the first trailer released, that Hot Doritos commercial with Zilla just came out of nowhere...;\
     
    In one of the trailers, while they are running on the street and the head of the Statue of Libery strikes, you can hear someone sayin' "It's a lion, it's a lion!".

    At the end of it, a guy clearly says too "[...] I saw it, it's a lion".

    A sphinx maybe? :D
     
    I wish they would make a movie with Cthulhu in it :D

    I think the movie would be good if they never show anything, thats how the original Horror movies were.

    I think this movie actually might be a bit scarier then most people thought. Bites? Maybe some weird thing..*twitch*

    But that was half disproved so NYEH. I don't know why when I see that commercial, I think of the big pink worm on Spongebob XD

    I real a little about it on Wikipedia. Apparently it's a huge THING the size of a skyscraper that starts terrorizing the town. Assuming you all knew that, it's hard not to tell I mean... it ruined a building, I guess it's pretty big XD

    The director has already said that the monster isn't a Lion and that if you listen well the man says: "Its Alive".

    I think that the monster is a whale, because it comes from the water, or an aquatic animal, but I dont think it's a lion or a giant robot.

    And they released like 2 days ago a video on a lot of different languages, I cant put links here but if you search on YouTube "Chuai Station English News" it will appear.

    And i read somewhere that the monster is going to have a lot of parasites with it, that will infect people or something like that, i just cant wait to see it, here in mexico is going to be released on february 1st. ¬¬ I just dont know if i can wait so long. :(

    Oh cant wait for this movie! Anyways, alot of people speculate it to be alot of different things, Voltron, new Godzilla film, "or a spin-off of the TV show Lost.[20] The Star Ledger" according to wikipedia. In other sites across the web people think its about Cthulu too. Three people attempted to make a sketch out of whats shown (which is so very little) so far:

    ...It gave me some really bad headaches and caused nausea for me. It's from the camera's point of view the entire time. I wouldn't recommend seeing it if you get sick easily from things like that.

    Other than that, however, I thought it was good. =P
     
    Terrible movie. I still hate that camera and I still don't have a full grasp on what the documentary was about. I will give about the sound though. Most of the movie had excellent sound. Maybe if Cloverfield were to ever be in 3-D I would likely see it again.
