How long codes are doesn't matter anymore. Both of the calculators I posted have the option to save the codes into a cheat file which you can upload into your GSS/AR/Gs/Etc in a matter of seconds.

I'm kinda new here and I have read some posts in this thread (17 pages/27), but nothing helps. I've been doing many codes from the pokemon calculator, but when I try to use them on my GameShark SP, they don't work. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks!

    [EDIT]
I'm going to someone's birthday party today, so I may not respond until tomorrow. I'll check back ASAP! Thanks again for whomever can help me.

As far as know, there are only 2 reasons why they are not working.

    Either
    1. You chose the wrong format for the code
    2. You do not have a master code

    Solution
    1. SImple, choose the right format. If you are using PokemonCalculatorV3x, choose CBA/GSv3+ for GSSP.
    2. The master code for the codes are the same ones that were preloaded into your cheating device. Just enter them again if you deleted them or something.

Well, I did chose Codebreakers (I read previous posts), and the master codes are still there. I've even checked them to make sure they are right.

    [EDIT]
I really have to go know. The party's starting soon, so I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks!

I have an AR deivce, and in the case of an AR, only one game code file can be activated at a time. So if I were to turn codes from 2 different codes on, only one code file would have working codes. That might sound confusing...

I have two code files, Pokemon Dapphire Sect1 and Pokemon Sapphire Sect2. I turn codes on from both. Only the first one I had codes turned on would work, so only codes from Pokemon Sapphire Sect1.

I'm not sure if this applies to GSSP so I really have no idea.

Apparantly, my parents will make me late for the party. Anyways, I sorta get what you are saying, but in a way I don't. When I first did a code, I did the code I'm trying to do now (get a shiny Ralts), and getting 99 masterballs. It says that the code wouldn't work if I do two at a time. Now, I do the mastercode and the code for the Ralts. But it still doesn't work.

    [EDIT]
Okay, this time I'm really leaving. My parents are already starting the car. Bubye, talk to you tomorrow! :classic:

Are you sure you ahve a GSSP and not just a GS? Cause to me it seems like you're saying NONE of the codes work at all.

I'm positive I have GSSP, I've checked the box, and the codes are 12 digits long, no more, no less. The only codes that work are the codes that come with the GSSP.

    [EDIT]

When I turn on my GBA SP, it automatically goes to Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. The codes I put in from the cheat calculator don't work, but the codes that come with the GSSP work. Where do you find the Samples to Codes button?

I editted my post. Read it up above. The Calculator you were using doesn't support GSSP. I posted the one that does up above.

I did it and I saved the codes onto my computer. Then I opened up the GameShark SP codebank on my computer, but when I tried dragging the saved codes into it, it doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? (I probably am...I don't know much about GSSP)

    [EDIT]
Actually, when I do that, it freezes up my GBA SP

You don't drag it. There should be a button that says 'Import' or 'Load' or something that suggests opening a file you have saved somewhere. Click the button and choose the file you saved.

Erm...double click the code file? I don't have a GSSP so I don't know how their program works.

When I double click the code file it says that the code cannot be opened due to the certain type of file.

Then I don't know what's wrong. It could just be that the Calculator doesn't work for GSSP evne tough it says it does.

Ok, I just finished adding all the codes manually. But when I tried the codes, they didn't work. Box 14, slot 1 didn't have any pokemon there. Or is the code a modifying code? Do I need to put a pokemon in slot one of box 14?

kpdavatar likely did not include a function for GameShark SP code saves. I believe it's only for AR/GSA v1/2 and v3 devices. The codes should work, but you have to enter them manually.

Make sure you are using the appropriate master codes.
