  • Can anyone give me the Gameshark code for getting Seel in Pokemon Sapphire? I keep trying this one code for getting it on Route 101 and I'm having absolutely no luck at all. I used to have a link for all of this but now of course it's gone. I could really use some help right now. Can I get a page or something with the correct codes?

    (asking for Jeikobu)

You're not using an old GameShark Advance (not the GameShark SP), are you? If you are, you're likely having problems, because the device is out-of-date. If the Route 101 codes you have are correct, however, then you can't have any other codes on at the same time (beside the master code).

  • Ok, I have a question regarding my sister's Pokemon Ruby game. I have tried numerous Gameshark codes, and nothing has worked. But here's the weird part: my brother also has a Pokemon Ruby, and he tried using the exact same codes (Master Code and Catch Zenigame (Squirtle) on Route 101) and they worked fine for him. But my sister has been searching and searching on Route 101 and has had no luck (I know it often takes alot of time and patience with the Route 101 codes, but she should have found it by now). I checked to make sure the codes were entered right, and they were. I checked to see if the right ones were on/off, that was fine too. Everything was the same for both games, except my brothers works and my sister's doesn't. And nothing should be wrong with my sister's game. She has played it recently and it's been fine (she just recently beat Roxanne). Can someone help me help her?

Also, can I get a Sapphire Gameshark code for changing my Seel's nature to Calm?

  • Jeikobu:

Route 101 codes are different between Ruby and Sapphire versions. Make sure that you are using the right code for the version you are using.

You cannot change the stats/nature of a Pok?mon -- the data is encrypted. You could recreate the monster with xyzman's calculator, though.

I recommend that you upgrade your device to AR v3, though. The information and links are in my two posts on the previous page.

On the bottom of this page is loadingNOW's FAQ. In it, you will find GSA and AR codes.

  • It's ok, I already captured another Seel with a better Nature.

As for my sister's problem, the games are the same. As I said, my brother used the exact same codes on his Ruby game and it worked, then we tried my sister's Ruby game and went well over 30 Pokemon and still no luck. We even used my brother Gameshark and GBA for it. The only difference was the game was my sister's, not my brother's. But they were both Ruby so the codes should work for both games, not just one.

I know it's hard, but try restarting the game.

Try updating your device to Action Replay v3. If you bought one game much later than the other, there may be slight differences between memory locations in the games, especially since the Route 101 codes are type-6.

Upgrade your device and try the one-line codes (follow the instructions) on the previous page. Alternatively, use the codes in loadingNOW's FAQ (GSA v1/2 -- they're the one-line codes, as well). Those codes always make the desired Pok?mon appear, lest there are deeper issues with your device and/or game pak.

    Edit{

Sorry, there are no GSA v1/2 one-line encounter mod codes. They're for PAR v3 only. I think you may just be having rotten luck on one game. Either that, or one game is slightly different than the other (revised by game programmers).

I just tried using the R/S Calculator to make some Pokemon, and it worked perfectly, except for one thing. The Pokemon I create all get boosted XP! I don't want them to, but I can't figure out how to find my Secret Trainer ID so I can enter it into the Calc to fix the problem. So my question is; how do I find my Secret Trainer ID? Or if I can't, is there a way to change it to a number I know with a GBA?

  • Jixatz:

You can change your Secret ID so you know what it is (using a calculator), or you can use a code to find it. Note that if you change your Secret ID, then your previously-caught monsters will receive an experience bonus. You will not be able to change old monsters' nicknames, as well.

    From loadingNOW's FAQ:

    "...

Find out your Secret Trainer ID Codes (1).
Enter this Type 6 code, and look at your trainer card. It could be a bit
messy (it might even make the game crash! If it does, you can use the 2nd
set of codes), but it'll display your secret Trainer ID instead of your regular
Trainer ID. After that, write down this number, and turn the code off (switch
off your GBA). For now, knowing your secret Trainer ID has no useful purpose.
But maybe one day some people will make proggies that'll use your secret
Trainer ID and your normal Trainer ID, and use them to compute a pokemon with
all the caracteristics/stats/genes... you want (and that'll obey you), find
your Feebas tiles... And, who knows, maybe more!

    Secret Trainer ID revealed (2).
If the 1st code makes your game crash, here are 2 other Type 6 codes that will
work perfectly (but require some calculation).

    1st code:
    CC8629C0 25DFAFD3
    02FECFE9 4D39B39F

    2nd code:
    CC8629C0 25DFAFD3
    FDF29BEB 6CBF0D9D

Enter the 1st code, and look at your trainer card. Write down the Trainer ID
    numbers that are displayed.

Do the same thing with the 2nd code. Now, open windows calculator (or any tool
that can make decimal-hexadecimal conversion). Enter the 1st number as
decimal, and convert it to hexadecimal.

You should have 4 numbers (A-F are numbers in hexadecimal). Write down the 2
1st numbers (if you have A152, take A1). Do the same thing with the numbers
you will get with the 2nd code.

Now take the 2 sets of 2 numbers you just wrote down, and enter them in windows
calculator as hexadecimal numbers in the order you wrote them down (if you had
A1 and B5, enter A1B5), and convert this number to decimal : you have your
    secret Trainer ID.

    E. Master:

The title of this topic is "Codes and Cheating Devices for Pokemon RS." Anything related to the operation and/or maintenance of a cheat device should be able to be posted here (at least, I think so), as the title suggests.

You may ask for codes here, troubleshoot problems with codes, etc.

This is solely for helping our members use their codes and give them access to some.

In order for some people to have access to codes, they must upgrade their device. Otherwise, the codes don't work. All the post that I have seen were related to the operation cheating devices or possible codes (or even information needed to create some codes, such as the IV list). Thus, I do not think that this thread is "off topic."

Did you restart the game, Jeikobu. It should work, but only do it if upgrading the gameshark don't work.

Does any one have the gameshark sp code to enable the eon ticket?
