I just finished my solo Kecleon run in ruby. It was pretty fun and easy because Kecleon is very underrepresented in pokemon. The reason why Kecleon is at a very high level is because I had like 20 rarecandies at the end of Victory Road (thanks to pickup getting about 8 of them and just finding random ones around hoenn and hoarding them)

I have completed a Solo Blastoise Run in Pokemon Red, Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Ruby. Not doing the advanced GENS because I don't like them much to be honest. I will consider going for Ultimate with it later on perhaps.

•Started game, as a girl named Aqua
•Received Totodile from Prof. Elm and named him river
•Got Mysterious Egg and Pokédex, crushed rival and named him Terra.
•Told mom to save my $moniez, ran to Violet and defeated everything on my way there
•Sweeped Sprout Tower rather easily, and then beat Falkner and received Togepi Egg + Super Potion from mom
•Went through Union Cave, crushed everyone and got some phone numbers
•Beat Team Rocket, Bugsy, and Terra without so much as a scratch on River -- Togepi hatched, male named Talos
•Got Cut in Ilex forest, used Talos to catch Spearow, Slowpoke, and Rattata HM slaves, then boxed Talos
•Headed to Ilex forest. . . .

The journey began

I was a formless entity. I was not happy, but only because I could not feel happiness. I suppose a word for it would be "content." I was content.

However, strange things are happening to me.

The world went black. It's always dark in my world, so we do not have a word for "darkness" or "light." The darkness suddenly got darker, then burst into light. Again, I did not have words for these phenomena.

Colors. I had never seen them. What I now know is "gold" blinded me. A man stood before me. And a voice. "Welcome to the world of Pokémon!"

I have heard of Pokémon. Sometimes, my kind possess them. We like them. There are 26 of them that exist. I have never seen one.

"Are you a boy or a girl?"

"A girl," I replied. I did not know what that meant, but I liked the sound of it better.

I was asked my name. My name is (?), but it cannot be easily spoken, so I spelled it. The man did not seem surprised.

Unexpectedly, I found myself in a small room. I looked at myself for the first time. I have several appendages now, and they move at my command. I have visual adapters. I have sensory inputs. I must be some kind of computer, I reasoned.

But computers feel no pain, so that realization was proven untrue when I tried to move. No longer can I pass through surfaces. I was surprised.

On an extremely soft surface were casings made of flexible surfaces. They were obviously meant as armor for my weak body. I have not had a body before. I am not sure if I like it. I fitted the armor to myself, only to learn with horror that it offered little protection.

I soon learned to move with relative ease. Standing on my two long protrusions, I descended the variant surfaces, and after much difficulty ran into a person of interest. "(?)!" she exclaimed. "Professor Elm was looking for you."

and then things happened...

I was to choose a Pokémon. I took the green one, because it looked a little scared, like me. I was given instructions to care for it by letting it walk beside me. Good. It was also bound to the downward surface, so it would be my guide. I was told to find a man named Mr. Pokémon, who lives north on route 30. I did not know what North nor Route 30 were, but I learn quickly, so I decided to find out for myself. Holding the green beast's leaf, I ventured onward.

Suddenly, an entity popped out at me. After screaming at the green beast to destroy it, I watched while my little green one fainted. I fainted as well, which surprised me. My life force must be tied somehow to the green one.

To shorten the story: I tripped over the running armor, met Mr. Pokémon, and was given an "egg." I liked the feeling of this "egg." Heading back to the lab, for I remembered the route, I met another solid entity, whose hair was a color I learned to be called "red."

I returned to the lab. I was being accused of theft, and by an idiot of a being. An excited sort, who was apparently my friend, defended me. I was impressed. I was likable.

I was given a set of "Pokéballs" by this friend. So, I could imprison these beasts! Hooray!

And later...

I was stopped outside a Pokémon center by a mysterious figure. "Do you believe in destiny?" it asked.

"Destiny?"

"You don't want that Pokémon," it spoke. I was confused. I had already started to like Green One. "Take this." I was handed another egg, but this one was lighter in weight. "Walk with it, and raise what's inside. You will like it, I promise. Battle with only that Pokémon."

The figure turned away. "If you do exactly what I say," it said, "everything will become clear."

I patted Green One on the head as an apology and, holding the egg, started walking...

All right I finally beated my luxray solorun on platinum just spammed x attacks to take down Bertha Aaron Flint and Lucien were a peace of cake, Cynthia was tough but the second time trying to beat her got her down her garchomp was strong, her milotic defeated my luxray thanks to mirror coat so I had to do first crunch and then Thunderbolt, but I'm happy to have it finally beaten that solo run on platinum with luxray.

• After defeating Bugsy, I defeated Gold and travelled through Ilex Forest.
• Got the Radio in Goldenrod City and defeated Whitney. Her Miltank didn't cause too much trouble.
• Defeated Sudowoodo and went to the Burnt Tower. Defeated Gold again and saw Suicune, Raikou and Entei. Perry evolved while battling the trainers in Morty's gym.
• Morty went back to his gym and was easily defeated with Perry's Confusion.
