[a id]1[/a id]Introduction
Seven years ago, Lilith and her daemons invaded the small town of Haven, drawn to the natural magicks that had made it so renowned. Two years ago, a long and bloody string of events led to Haven's destruction and the relocation of its survivors to the capital city of Arxium.
The history you know, however, differs from this one. In a separate time, perhaps the Legends would have risen, but that time is not the one these citizens know. The deaths once witnessed may not have occurred in quite the same manner here, and so the Legends slumber, but a new threat has come to claim Arxium in their absence.
In the forests surrounding the city, a large rift opened in the sky. Briefly, barely noticeable,
but bearing great dangers unlike any these faeries have ever seen.
The future of our world now threatens the future of theirs.
The future that comes to pass now rests in the hands of a small group of individuals over the course of the next few nights.
Who will you lead to victory?
[a id]3[/a id]Roles
Arxians
The denizens of the Arxian Empire, drawn from the sanctuary of Haven and the capital itself. These individuals are the most iconic and powerful of the citizens of Arxium, and should they fall, Arxium itself will follow soon after. They achieve victory by eliminating all threats to Arxium.
Zami
Jailer
When there is no burning, Zami may target another player at the end of the day, jailing them for that night. Jailed players may not perform any actions, nor may they be affected by any other actions. Zami and her target may converse, but her identity will not be revealed to her target. At the end of the night, she may choose to kill or spare her target. Her kill may be role blocked.
Naku
PriestNaku learns what roles visited him at the end of each night (but not the identity of the players that made the visits). If he is to be killed,
he has a fifty percent chance of turning Atlanteans or Humans into TraitorsDoes not participate in mafia meetings, appears innocent to the Seer, and does not count towards mafia majority. Wins with the mafia.
, Arxian killing roles into VillagersA regular member of the town. Has no special abilities.
, and Remnants into SurvivorsVisits one person each night. If that person does not visit, the Survivor hides in their home and cannot be targeted. Dies if their chosen person dies that night. Wins if alive at the end of the game.
. Queen Avra
Beloved Governor
Can override a burning once in the game. Cannot override a no lynch. When Queen Avra is killed, the subsequent day phase is skipped entirely.
Prince Aegle
Prince / Conditional Granny
If Prince Aegle is the target of a burning, his role will be publicly revealed and the burning will be cancelled. As long as Baldassare is alive, any player that visits Prince Aegle during the night will have their action blocked and they will be killed.
Baldassare
Judge
Votes for burnings are counted twice.
Kharis
Lover / Unique
If the Banshee is killed, Kharis will die as well. Knows the identities of the Banshee and Baldassare. If Baldassare dies, becomes unaligned and gains new abilities.
Banshee
Lover / Loudmouth
If Kharis is killed, the Banshee will die as well. Knows the identity of Kharis. If visited during the night, all visitors are revealed. Messages from the Dragonkeeper sent to the Banshee will be leaked.
Vanguard
Bodyguard
Chooses one person to protect each night. If that person is targeted to be killed, there is a 50/50 chance of either one of the assailants being killed or the Vanguard dying instead. Guaranteed to kill assailants when protecting the Ambassador.
Dragonkeeper
Bulletproof / Telepath / Bomb
Has a bulletproof vest that allows the Dragonkeeper to survive one killing action. Can send anonymous messages during day phases. Anyone who kills the Dragonkeeper will die (but only the first assailant/mafia hammer vote will die in the case of multiple attackers).
Seraphkin
Doctor / Angel
Visits a player each night, protecting them from killing actions and stopping the Bleeding condition. Assigned one person at the start of the game. If that person dies at night or is lynched, the Angel may choose to die instead. Wins if their target is alive at the end of the game. Target can be innocent, mafia or third party.
Ambassador
Celebrity / Leader
Current role will always be revealed to all. If killed, votes will be anonymous during the next day.
Alchemist
Santa
Visits one player every night, giving them an item of the Alchemist's choice. May give out wards (vests) that protect the wearer from a single killing action, bottled fireballs (guns) that may be used during the day to kill another player, daggers that cause anyone slashed by them to bleed, bottled blizzards (snowballs) that can be thrown during the day to role block the target during the following night, and crystal balls that may be used to reveal the role of a target of the holder's choosing upon the holder's death.
Pandora
Vigilante
Visits one person every night, killing them. If Pandora visits the same person as the mafia, Pandora dies. If Pandora is killed by the mafia, her own kill will not go through.
Witch
Drunk / Ghoul
Visits one person every night, nullifying whatever action(s) they have for that night and causing them to die in the Witch's place if the Witch is targeted to be killed. Second ability only works once, after which only the role blocking is applied.
Seer
Cop
Visits one person every night and receives a report with that person's alignment.
Atlanteans
Strangers from a mystic land beyond the glass. Their purpose here is unknown, but they are not welcome here, nor do they seem to get along with the other outsiders. They achieve victory by outnumbering all other factions.
Siphon
Godfather / Framer
Appears innocent on cop reports. Visits one person every night, causing them to appear guilty to the Seer for that night.
Chrysanthemum
Medusa
Any player that visits Chrysanthemum during the night becomes marked for the following day. She will be aware of how many players she marks each night. Marks vanish at the end of the day phase during which they are applied. Once during the game, Chrysanthemum may choose to kill all marked players.
Scarlet Reaper
Slasher
If no one visits the Scarlet Reaper during the night, she will be able to Slash another player during the day. Slashed players will begin bleeding, and will die at the end of the night following the day they were slashed. The Scarlet Reaper does not attend mafia meetings.
Humans
Creatures that closely resemble the Elves of Arxium. It appears that they have recently learned to wield magicks, and, while shrouded in mystery, their intentions do not appear to be kind. They achieve victory by outnumbering all other factions.
Archmage
Fabricator
Visits one person every night, giving them an item of the Archmage's choosing. May give out fake wards (vests) that fail to protect the wearer, fake fire (guns) that will kill the user rather than the target, fake crystal balls that will fail to reveal their target, fake keys that will fail to lock out visitors, fake daggers that will not cause their target to bleed, and fake blizzards (snowballs) that will fail to stun the target. Fake items always take precedence over legitimate ones.
Witch Hunter
Hooker
Visits one person every night, nullifying any actions that that player may have performed during that same night.
Raptor
Arsonist
Visits one person every night and curses them. Once during the game, the Raptor may choose to set off the curses, killing all players that have been cursed. The Raptor does not attend mafia meetings.
Remnants
Memories of conflicts past. Whatever power they once held is long gone. Now they wander alone, seeking fragmentary pieces of what they once were. They achieve victory in their own, unique ways, potentially known only to themselves.
Lilith
Cultist
Visits one player every night, who will be converted into a Lilim. If Lilith is killed, all Lilim will die. Wins if Daemons outnumber all other factions.
Necromancer
Multi-Use Amnesiac
May visit one dead player in the graveyard at night, acquiring their abilities. May only hold one role at a time, but may obtain a new one each night.
