My mom makes these amazing chocolate covered cookies with cherries inside the cookie. It's so good. She only makes them once every few years on Christmas, they are really hard to make. :3
 
My grandparents make strawberries covered in chocolate. They're nice.
 
I always thought chocolate covered cherries/strawberries where for valentines O_o
 
What. Why would there be specific food for a specific date.. That's just silly.

That's like saying you can't eat Turkey unless it's Thanksgiving.
 
Mmm, not really. I see cherries/strawberries covered in chocolate all the time.

To be honest, I never even knew they were for Valentine's day.
 
Speaking of cherries I love anything cherry from candy,yogurt to real cherries. :p

My grandma, which is now dead, had a cherry tree in her front yard. Us kids would freak out over them! They were the best cherries ever.

She also had a 1000 dollar bill from 1928, legit. My dad got it when she died, he sold it for about..13,000 dollars to pay off his debt.
 
Cherry Trees? :O

The closest I can get to that is Lychee tree. Back in nepal :D During the right season, we would all wake up (the kids) at 5 am and run to the trees, eat everything and go back to bed :3
