3rd Gen Contest question

I have not finished the game yet. I have only gotten to the silver card. The last thing left is contests. Do you have to just win the Master rank contest to get the gold card or do you have to win and get the painting done for the museum??

You need to win Master Rank in all of the categories, you don't need to get the paintings done though.
