Controllers

Yeah, the PS2/PS3 controllers are great, but I have to say that the SNES controllers were awesome.

The GameCube, 360, and Wii controllers are the most comfortable for me.

The GameCube's (regular, not the WaveBird) fits my hands *perfectly*. The 360 is a very very close second though.

The Wii needs some explanation. It would still be in third place for me (just based on the consoles I've used and have experience - so, no Sony or Sega consoles), but using it with the jacket makes a world of difference. It adds some much needed girth and gripage. But even with out it, being able to kick back and relax have my hand far apart (Wiimote in one and nunchuck in the other) is enjoyably freeing.

My least favourite is the SuperNES. The original controller. I think there was a second version released. The one that I dislike uses the purple buttons and is very flat. Maybe it was okay when I was a kid, but today it feels like I can snap the thing in two. I later got a better controller, the back is slightly rounded and it has coloured buttons matching Europe and Japan.

Favorite: Gamecube hands down.

I also like those from the PS1,2,3, N64, X-box 360,

Least favorite: the fat old X-box controller and the WIImote

Favourite Controller: Xbox 360 Controller wins hands down. It's ergonomically shaped, the layout makes sense, and it's really comfortable to hold. I have some gripes with it, such as the battery pack on the underside and the dead zones on the xbox 360 analog sticks are larger than the PS3, but those are easily overlooked for it's pros.

Least Favourite Controller: Gamecube. Don't get me wrong, it's a great console with some awesome games, but I feel like I'm playing the game with a controller made out of lego every time I plug it in. The whole feel is really awkward, and although it's similar to the xbox 360, the grips are thinner and the shoulder buttons just don't feel right, and everything on the controller clicks which just makes me shudder. The button layout is really awkward too.
