I actully i find it stupid,
I pretty much agree.Though im still confues about that building.
I wonder if they made a Silver art for the next scan.
 
I actually like the trees although they look a lot like the DPPT trees. Maybe in the next generation we will have much more different trees?

You shouldn't go flaming just because someone has a different opinion than you.

On topic: Does is seem to anyone else that the graphics of the DS are being utilized a fair bit more here than in D/P/Pt?
 
The second link doen't work for as well. Though, I wouldn't be surprised with these new scans that some of the buildings and houses, and even trees in forests may be positioned somewhere else. After watching some of them, it gets a little confusing to determine which city it may be and all.

I'm not flaming. I'm just telling him to cut out his negativity in a strongly worded way.

If you don't like HG/SS, go back and play your original G/S, don't pulse your pessimism and baw baw complaints at everyone. Stop complaining as if nintendo promised you a perfect port.

This isn't a port, it's a remake. There's going to be changes weather you and your nostalgia goggles like it or not.

As I have stated elsewhere Johto is indeed more compact. I find it nice cause it makes it look more populated and cooler instead of a desolate wasteland with buildings and people.

It would be boring having an exact remake. The same maps, bleh.
Also why do a lot of people hate the new girl?
I can't think of a good reason...
Also I wasn't expecting Crystal to be in it.
Anyways, it is a new character, why to hate it?
We don't even know her personality.
And why adapt her to anime if games has nothing to do with anime?
The girl in RF/LG wasn't adapted to anime, did she?

The new look of Johto and the 3D design has given a positive and different appearance to the Johto. I see it more and more with every new leaked picture we receive.
 
True, it really isn't leaked, I guess I misused my words there, but I still stick to what I recently stated.

Anyways... It looks like PKMNBlogger from YouTube was correct in saying that the Shiny Pichu triggered a GS/DS Event. Also, it looks awesome to see a shiny following you about.

Epic new Sprites, and epic new Lugia/Ho-oh Art. I can't wait till these are released.

Orly? Positive? no. Different? Yes.
It's just too damn much of a change, I'm sorry.
It's like they're changing the maps as a whole. Of course,
the typical trademarks will remain in the same places, but..
it feels like a different game. Of course that's not bad, but
this WAS supposed to be a GS Remake.. This is all in terms of Nostalgia:
The music, what we know of, is pretty much completely changed.
The maps have also been revamped, and more than graphic-wise.
The girl was replaced, as well.. I still love the game and I'm not
trying to make a rant or anything, but I'm just saying it's straying
away from a remake we expected and they promised, and more of
a totally new game. In a sense, it is 4.5 Gen. I still love this game
and I still love gen 2 and Johto. I'll still get both games.. It's just
I expected more nostalgia is all.

Well you cannot have the whole cake and eat it all. The graphics were expected, and the new look because of it is great and has truly brought life to Johto. The girl was never replaced as you stated, because there was no girl in the original GS to begin with. The music, we haven't heard all of it, so it's kind of too early to assume that it was all changed to something new. The plot with Team Rocket appears to be pretty much the same [we'll see as time goes on] but as far as I can tell, it isn't straying away from the original as you have stated so much.

The games are for the DS, so the graphics are obviously going to be on the DS's level.

As for the music, we've only heard a single piece, and the only difference from the old one is that it's slowed down.
