4th Gen CoroCoro Scans (May 13th) / Famitsu scans (May 14th) - discussion

There have always been Rattatas in Sprout Tower so it makes sense to have it in the picture. (Gastlys and Rattatas are the pokemon that one can run into in Sprout Tower, but you mostly saw them at night.)

Lol You're funny. ^_^ Actually, to add to that. They could still play the Gameboy Color game on Gameboy Advanced or the SP. (I know b/c I play Silver on the SP. It works just fine.)

(To BZ, really? That's awesome! My level 80 Magikarp has bad attack stat, though. 22.)

I really like the pics Coro Coro provided us. I like the new Azalea town especially. The azaleas on those trees are lovely. It adds a nice touch to the game.

Can we call it unknown tower thing? I mean people call Azalea and some people call Ecruteak. Its just too confusing the way both are and all so yeah.
 
The trees adds a a nice variety to the game. It doesn't make the game to boring seeing some of the mroe similar things around every town or route.
 
These are DPPt graphics so I wouldn't be surprised if they did add those kind of Roads to the town, but the dirt looking road would be better off for it, if it were so.

exactly. In DPPt they made it stand out as a town with dirt road and city with paved road. Assuming they go for that then this would be Ecruteak.
 
It's possiblity now that I think of it, because New Bark Town was given the dirt roads as well, so it could be Eckruteak City like some may think ... or even a different city, that we may not be looking into ...

Yes but there is no other city with such a path. Really. I call Ecruteak from now people. Believe it! And the headbutt trees are missing BUT there is one lone tree there. Maybe some trees have special headbutt powers?
 
True. I guess we'll just wait until we see more before deciding what town it is.

Does anyone else feel like the new Chikorita (battle) sprite (not overworld) resembles Turtwig's Platinum sprite? Chikorita looked way different than Turtwig in DPP. I kinda have a feeling this game will be a lot like the originals with just a few new twists. (Like the RBY remakes.)
 
It will be like the originals, as long as they keep major GS key parts...But no doubt it'll have a lot of new twists as well. I don't know about Chikorita and Turtwig, I'd have to compare the two...

Will it wouldnt be a remake if it dosnt have a twist.

Abut the Chikorita sprite,Not much to say though but I get your point.
 
I guess they needed an idea for Chikorita, and they took some of it from Turtwig's sprite.
