Let's fix the grammar on this:

So I'm assuming that her Japanese name is Kimi?

Guys, the "kimi" in that sentence means "you", not some name. That sentence says that the protagonist, as your other self, can be a boy or a girl. The unchosen one will support you. After that, it says that the bag given to you could be holding the new Pokegear.

(If more kanji from the scans were posted, it'd be easier to try translating them, lol)

The PokeGear definitely seem to have like a selection choice instead of a roulette style like the Poketch did. (Being able to see all choice and choose instead of going up/down to get the desired choice.) And the camera add-on, if would be included, would seem to have just be, no doubt, a fun-factor. My guess is probably they'll do something like the PokePlaza and you can take pictures and have specfic Pokemon borders around it. That's my guess though.
 
I don't think Kimi might be the name, and I don't know if it means 'you' either. Though, I wouldn't trust good to translate what is on these scans.

Look 3 posts up. Anyway yeah you get your bag packed and ready along with the poke-gear. That means your mom prepared your bag for your journey. Now thats a nice change if not that could mean a bit of an alteration storywise.
 
If the bag and PokéGear come ready for you, then it makes it all the simpler for players.

Actually you are right. I forgot that the bag came with the gear. *dee dee dee moment*
 
Excuse me on that remark, it has been about almost8 years since I even played Crystal...Though, if it were so in the original, I think I remember that, then glad they at least kept it that way.
 
It was that way in the original Silver version. (I just did a new game.) She came right to your character as soon as you got downstairs. (I'm looking forward to seeing her new sprite. ^_^) I like Gold's sprite. He looks cute. :)

Well yeah,You get your bag along with the Pokegear.(Thank you mom =3)in the original G/S.

Though what do you think Rocket's sprite in The remake will,Hope its better.
 
I never mentioned anything about Gold's sprite. I do like it actually, though they made that yellow stripe in his hat, very noticable.

Even though he's been a bit redesigned, I like how aside from where the gold is on his hat, he looks exactly like how Gold's (pre redesign) overworld sprite would look for the DS.
 
I don't really see anything wrong with Gold's sprite. To me it actually looks pretty cool, and yes the yellow stripe in his hat is noticeable but it still looks good.
 
It does look good. Wow, I wonder what he would have looked like in a game such as Pokémon Ranger. If the scans had come out like that, it would have been shocking.
