Corrupt a Wish

Granted, but they are uncontrollable being too high level for the third gym. You can't get them to do anything you want in battle, and often they hit the run option against your will during wild Pokemon encounters. If the birds are in your party they will also maliciously peck your other Pokemon while you walk through the overworld, leaving your good Pokemon fainted or on low hp whenever a trainer battle starts. Also every time you try to pick up a found item one of the birds will pop out of their pokeball and spitefully whirlwhind it out of sight, good bye key items, evolutionary stones, rare candies, masterballs.

I wish Tropius got a mega to buff it's stats and a dragon secondary typing.

Granted, but Tropius' base Health stat drops by 10 and its Speed stat stays the same while all of its other base stats only increase by 10 when it Mega Evolves, meaning that faster Pokémon with Ice-Type attacks will likely OHKO Mega Tropius without fail. Also Mega Tropius has the Truant ability, officialy making it the worst Mega Pokémon of all time. And it has a terrible design.

I wish Camerupt had Water Absorb as its ability.

Granted, but it's only available on a new Galarian Camerupt that's a grass bug type. so you resisted water anyway and now have to deal with a 4× weakness to fire and flying along with the normal weaknesses of bug, rock, poison and ice. He also has no mega evolution, and a worse movepool with his only stab options being fury cutter and absorb.

I wish that Mimikyu's disguise ability was not nerfed in SWSH.

Oh yes, granted. Now, the Disguise ability makes it capable of taking 16 hits before wearing off, and once you get it down to half it's health, it will restore it's own health and get back it's disguises. It is capable of restoring it's own HP unless you can straight up one shot it. Worse still, from this, the programmers decided to go and boost it's HP to base 130.

I wish Stealth rock was removed from the game.

Granted, but you can never proceed beyond your home town. Take one step out of town into the tall grass and Crazy Ex Girlfriend always appears on the screen with a chainsaw, forcing you to turn around and go back to your house.

I wish that Whiscash got the respect it deserved like Swampert or even Quagsire.

Granted, but now the trio of Whiscash, Swampert and Quagsire are massively overhyped, so much that every new piece of Pokémon merchandise is dedicated to Whiscash and the others. Whiscash is named Pokémon of the Year and soon replaces Pikachu as the mascot of the Pokémon Franchise. The next Pokémon game features a Whiscash that follows the player around in the overworld, and it can never be removed from your party.

I wish that every single Pokémon in the Galar Dex had a Gigantamax Form

Granted! ...What do you mean, "none of these Gigantamax forms look any different"?? Boltund's ears point in the opposite direction, Greedent has a Mago berry instead of a Leppa berry, and Dubwool's pupils are 0.35% bigger!!

I wish Eternatus had a more interesting story.

Granted, but Eternatus' story is so interesting that Sword and Shield forces the player to sit through literal hours of dialogue as Sonia explains every last ounce of Eternatus' lengthy story in full detail. Approximately 95% of SwSh's main storyline focuses on hearing about Eternatus, while 1% focuses on the actual gameplay itself. And the other 4% focuses on Hop appearing every 5 minutes.

I wish that the woman who trades you Haunter in DPPt didn't give it an Everstone

Granted. She will now allow you to evolve your ghost, but at the cost of it now being at level 1 at it's basic form, and it only fully evolves at level 95. Worse of all, it no longer has it's normal level up moveset and only knows Splash. You virtually have to raise it up all those levels by only switch grinding, or the EXP share.

I wish you could sing songs with or for your mons in the game.

Granted, but the song is always, jiggggggillyeeee puffff, jigglyyyyyyyyyy puff, jiggly and you end up falling asleep every time you sing.

I wish I could get a shiny snivy in Pokemon Black. I have been soft resetting for months and am at the end of my patience.

Granted, but your Pokémon do so bad at the exam that the exam board won't let you resit the exam or even take part in any future exams. Whats worse, everyone else sitting the exam got full marks on every exam. Also, everyone taking the exam was trying to get the same job for which there was only one position avaialble, and the exam cost you thousands to be able to take.

I wish I could lose my specific memory of playing Explorers of Sky so that I can experience the story again

Granted, but the next game is completely centered around the plot and because of this the player won't even be able to battle the Gym Leader before having to travel through various dungeons to get items for them, debating with them and trying to stop the evil team together. Before it is revealed that the Gym Leaders were the masterminds of the evil team all along and must now all be fought at the same time in a 1 on 8 Battle.

I wish that the Battle Tower in Sword and Shield had more boss battles than just Leon and Charizard.
