    We do username changes bi-yearly, the next available time is in May when username changes will open to everyone. You can also donate to PokéCommunity to get an additional username change per year.

    It's almost May! Gosh, can you believe it has taken that long? Looking forward to it. Any preliminary steps I can take?

    Well, actually... recently, the staff made name changes all year round. As you can see here.
