3rd Gen Could someone help me?

    After I beat the elite four i went to the islands to get the ruby and sapphire plates. Bu when I talk to celio he doesnt say anything about the ruby and sapphire plates and when i go to mt ember i cant battle the rockets. Could someone help me?

    What does that have to do with this question?

    Well, I dont really know what to do coz I havent played that part of the game in a really long time.
     
    Yeah, to get the national dex you must have 60 pokemon, then go to Oak and he'll give it then you should able to fight the rockets.
     
    Have you used any gamesharks.

    If not you should get a guide or something.
     
    are you sure you upgraded to the National Pokedex? If so, then something is screwed up, and you may be able to fix it by catching 10 more new types of pokemon (ones that you didn't previously in your dex) and by re-breating the E4. I've heard thats worked sometimes - repeating the steps needed for the item that the game may not recognize. Btw, this should've gone in simple questions.

    I know a script bug -- unless ya go into tha pkmn center on Island 6 Gary'll still be there even after tha whole Rocket/Ruby/Sapphire plot has transpired... wierd.... I wouldn't wanna restart 'cause o' that... *shudders*
     
    oh yes, talk to that odd man that fix that big machine again coz u need to talk to him twice if its not the problem e-mail me about it and i will try to find it out for u. good luck any way

    Help with what? Getting the National Dex? Just get 60+ Pokemon and then talk to Prof. Oak in Pallet Town.

    Getting the Ruby/Sapphire gems? I think there's a section about it in the FRLG FAQ, but I'm not sure. That thing hasn't been updated for ages.

    Getting through the S.S. Anne? Find the Captain and rub his back.
