Virtual Reality Gaming In Pokémon
Virtual reality has taken some strides in the gaming world. We have even seen some big titles like Skyrim and Fallout go out and try the VR aspect. Upon reading some of the reviews and watching some game play it looks like there are still lots of aspects to polish but has taken strides. Rockstar had also released a VR version of their detective game of L.A Noire with the same obvious rough corners to iron out. Thank you YouTube and Steam for the quick research.
It got me thinking, and this is where the conversation really kicks in...
.
My take
Surprisingly this had generated a HUGE debate whenever I was doing a group chat while playing an Xbox game yesterday. While I would love to see a fully implemented stand alone VR Pokemon game it would really limit down on their sales considering the fact that extra equipment would have to be bought in order to play the game. Nintendo could be sneaky and have it set as a special combo price. (Hardware + Game). However, given the scenario I think they would experiment more on a side game compared to a main series game to see what the general feel and feedback would be where you can choose between VR or controlled method...
I don't believe it would be for the Nintendo Labo, in fact, if this was an actual thing in development I would think that Nintendo would come out with a different add on for the VR side of things.
We have a lot of passionate fans around here... What is your perspective on this subject?

- Could we in the next few years see Nintendo and Gamefreak come out with a main (Like X/Y, Emerald etc.) or spin off full length game (Mystery Dungeon) that has full supported VR functionality and game play from beginning of the game to "The End" (Gym Battles +Story) for the Nintendo Switch or home console? Or even have it as an option that you could play through normally with just a controller, or go through with a virtual reality headset and controller? While we do have Pokemon GO, this is considered an Augmented reality (AR) game, it isn't to be confused with actual VR due to the fact that AR takes place in a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information. (Game Material)
- If you were to sit down with the aforementioned companies and add a couple of elements to a potential VR Pokemon game, what would you add, propose or consider in the grand scheme of things? (Cust. Satisfaction, Sales, PR, etc.)
