It would be kinda cool to see a countdown clock to when the next game is coming out. Like if the ETA is for 2015, then the countdown should be for the last second. That away it could be adjusted for the exact date whenever it comes out.

It wouldn't be that hard to make. and I wouldn't mind helping out for some $ (depending on what you're using on your backend).

I actually like this idea for ORAS. I did this when Pokemon Black & White were coming out before and if there was something to implement a forum-wide countdown towards ORAS, I'd say that would be pretty fun to watch.

Or maybe the ORAS section could have a live countdown, that would also be great as well. :D

I don't know if it's actually possible to implement, but in the meantime you can use this countdown if you're looking for an exact number until the release of ORAS. I do agree though that it would be pretty cool to have that on the site; just don't know if it's possible to code in the end.

Easily done. We could have a specific page for it, but I don't think it would need to be linked on the site or anything. Just a link such as https://www.pokecommunity.com/countdown would suffice. Or, the countdown on the splash as suggested.

If Pepperton or Dave want to do that, I don't mind lending a hand for no $ by the by.
