How many hours do you typically put into your Pokemon games? Do you put similar numbers of hours into each game? Do you ever max out the timer? Are you more of a "binge" player, or do you play steadily over time?
I've noticed that I seem to play even numbered generations more than odd numbered generations (with the exception of LeafGreen, at around 350 hours), and I tend to pick one game per generation to play a lot more than others. On whatever game I play first, I tend to put in several hundred hours and complete my Pokedex (450 on X, for example, and about the same on Diamond), while my playtime tapers off a bit after that (e.g., only have 40-50 hours on AS, a dozen or so on OR [though I just started that], and around 20-30ish between two copies of Y). I build up a lot of my hours in the first year (somewhat steadily, with binges over vacations), then tend to trail off a bit more over time. I've never maxed out a time (not even on RBY, as I used to back up my saves on my Mega Memory Card and restart a lot on those, so my timer never even reached 200 hours).
