    Hello, please give your opinion on this Cradily moveset:

    Cradily @ Leftovers
    Relaxed
    - Sandstorm
    - Ingrain / Sludge Bomb
    - Stockpile
    - Swallow
     
    This is the Cradily I'm using for my current RMT thread.

    [Cradily] @ Leftovers
    Trait: Suction Cups
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP / 172 Special Defense / 80 Defense
    - Stockpile / Barrier
    - Mirror Coat
    - Stone Edge
    - Recover

    Just a note, Stockpile alone is fantastic. Stockpile used for powering up Swallow and Spit Up . . . they suck D:
     
    Cradilly@leftovers
    nature: Careful / Sassy
    evs: 252hp/164def/92sp.def
    - Toxic / Energy Ball
    - Rock Slide / Stone Edge
    - Recover
    - Stealth Rock / Earthquake

    This is the standard sand stream special wall, make sure you have a Hippowdon or Tyranitar to actually start the sandstorm because sandstorm as a move on Cradilly is a waste of a moveslot.


    in sandstream Sp.Def = 451, with just 92 sp.def EVS.
     
    ^I agree...I ran this set and It works very well. Though in my opinion Stockpile on Cradilly must be very good, because of his ability
     
    Knowing Kero, I think this might be 3rd generation, where stockpile didn't increase def...I don't think it did...

    i like lum berry on cradily. it becomes useless when it gets burned and put to sleep before it can improve its defenses/attack/recover.

    Barrier is bait for Ice Beamers. They die to MC. Toxic for other damage and Rest for stalling. You might think it sucks, but just try it.

    Wouldn't recover accomplish the same thing as rest, only better? I love that set, quite a fun one to run...
     
    Rest is better imo. That way you can outstall other Toxics. Like opposing Cradily. Use Recover if you want, but Rest has always worked better for me.
