Dialogue:
Before Battle - So you're [player name]! The other Gym Leaders have been talking about you, your strength, your determination. But I'm going to have to cut that determination. Because I'm Vox! And I have the power of the earth!
During Battle - Hahaha! Very good so far, but try and beat Flygon. No one ever has before!
After Battle - Well if I was going to lose, I'm happy it was you I lost to. You have potential kid. Keep up that determination, and maybe even the Elite Four will be in a run for their money! Here, take TM Earthquake, and make the ground shake during a battle once again!
Gym Leader Bio: After traveling the world and defeating the Elite Four of every region, Vox denied the prestegious position of Champion. Instead he settled in Sandybeach Town, and became the Gym Leader. He currently holds possetion of the eighth Gym Badge of the Aloku Region, and is called The Oncoming Storm by Pokemon Trainers throughout the world.
Well....considering I do intend to one day own every single pokémon I like (yeah, I'll have different ones out of the same evolution line) it's hard to choose a theme, but I suppose seeing as my first region was Hoenn, it'd be appropriate to have a water-based team? However, I have two brilliant ideas for gyms, so I'll put them in spoilers:
Gym No.1
Spoiler:
Gym Name: Petalburg City Gym Town: Petalburg City Gym No. 8 Type: Mixed Puzzle: As with Petalburg City Gym in Emerald version, however the trainers will use a variety of types (one even has a Salamence). Prize: Balance Badge / TM42 Facade
Backstory
Spoiler:
Norman never got over his shock at losing to his son, promptly losing his nerve against many other trainers, and seriously injuring them and their pokémon in this process. The last time, Slaking actually destroyed the entire gym to stop Norman from making him attack a defenceless new trainer who got lost.
As such, Norman went on some soul-searching, leaving all his pokémon behind, except for a Swellow he raised in Petalburg Woods, and was last known to be heading to Blackthorn City to meet another gym leader known for recklessness, Clair.
At first, the pokémon league organisation though his son, Brendan, would be the best replacement. However, they couldn't contact him, as he was training furiously to raise the Beldum given to him by Steven, certain it would give him victory, and had accidentally destroyed his Pokénav when he dropped it from the top of Sky Pillar. All the other gym leaders had been defeated by Brendan's newly-released Rayquaza, who had some compassion to the trainer and would allow none to disturb him. They eventually gave up, thinking it might be best to leave him be, hoping that Norman would have recovered and returned home before Brendan managed to defeat Steven.
They then turned to May, however she was too busy researching with her father, and hadn't enough strong pokémon to take the position anyway.
Finally, just when all hope of finding a replacement was lost and Wallace was going to be contacted about standing down back to his gym leader position in order to allow Juan to come to Petalburg, Wally returned home after just losing to Wallace in Ever Grande City. He had gone to thank Norman once again for helping him obtain his Ralts (now a Gardevoir), only to find the gym destroyed. The pokémon league organisation's representatives noticed Wally's strong pokémon, and offered him the position of gym leader, which he accepted. Winona can now be found at the gym every 3rd wednesday checking up on Wally.
After hearing of Wally's appointment, Brendan's mum gave him the third starter pokémon from Professor Birch, which had been destined as a gift to Brendan for completing his National Pokédex (close interaction with Steven's Metang and then again as a Metagross enabling him to see all non-event/legendary pokémon). This starter was a Shiny Torchic. Wally has since raised this pokémon to its' final stage.

Gym No.2
Spoiler:
Gym Name: Viridian City Gym Town: Viridian City Gym No. 8 / 16 (Kanto / Johto) Type: Mixed Puzzle: As it is under Blue in HeartGold / SoulSilver. Prize: Earth Badge / TM92 Trick Room
Backstory
Spoiler:
After Gold defeated him, Silver was offered the position of joint gym leader in Viridian City, as whilst he was of a similar nature to Blue, they pokémon league organisation figured that if they had two gym leaders, there's more of a chance for challengers to be able to get a battle.
However, it appears to have backfired, as they can now both be found on Cinnabar Island training in the craters left by the volcano, determined to re-challenge Red and Gold. If you go to Cinnabar Island, with the 7 other badges of Kanto, you get two options: 1. Consecutive Single Battles. Fully healing is provided between battles. 2. A double battle with both of them.
Leaders:
Gym Leader Blue
Gym Leader Silver
Pokémon:
Blue
For a double battle, two are randomly selected, and paired with Pidgeot.
Silver
For a double battle, two are randomly selected, and paired with Feraligatr.
Extra Criteria: When they're rematched, their levels are increased to those of Blue's 2nd round team in HeartGold / SoulSilver, but no pokémon in their rosters are changed. (Blue's Gyarados is lv.70 like his Tyranitar in HeartGold / SoulSilver).
Yeah, seeing as I intend to own so many pokémon, I couldn't tie myself down to a set team, so I created imaginary situations instead.
Since we now have five generations of Pokemon I went with my five grass favorites from each.
Name: Aysel Town: Verdanturf Town Type: Grass Pokemon/level:
- Mebukijika/40
- Cradily/44
- Sunflora/42
- Abomasnow/44
- Victreebel/47 Badge/TM: Verdure Badge / TM53 (Energy Ball) Layout: Probably nothing too fancy. I would imagine the gym would be filled with all kinds of plants, but getting to the leader wouldn't be a hassle. I'm pretty straightforward with things.
Name: Emilio, the 8th and last gym leader. City: Lavender town. Type: Ghost. Pokemon, level and moves:
- Mismagius, 47, shadow ball - confuse ray - grudge - nasty plot.
- Banette, 47, shadow sneak - sucker punch - shadow claw - destiny bond
- Gengar, 48, shadow ball - sludge bomb - hypnosis - nightmare
- Dusknoir, 48, thunder punch - ice punch - pain split - shadow sneak
- Shandera, 49, shadow ball - flamethrower - energy ball - will-o-wisp Badge and TM: Hollow badge, TM30 Shadow ball. Gym Layout: The entrance would be a very long, big and dark hallway with a red dusty carpet on the floor, candles on the wall, old paintings (showing terrifying faces whose eyes are moving), old knight suits (that moves occasionally, without you noticing). Sometimes you will even hear creepy laughing and screaming out of nowhere, and the floor creaks every time you take a step. The hallway would lead to me, standing all alone in a very big room. A graveyard-like battlefield, with only strims of light coming from the many candles on the walls. Alot of beautiful but very old and dusty furnitures and instruments decorating the gym. Old spider web everywhere and no windows.
Name: Asrodrig
City: Blackthorn City
Type: Normal
Pokemon and Level:
Persian lvl 40
Porygon-Z lvl 41
Togekiss lvl 41
Girafarig lvl 41
Snorlax lvl 42
Badge and TM: Hero Badge and TM42 Facade
Gym Layout: It would be a large white room with four sections separated by walls. Each wall has a guarded opening. The first is guarded by a single trainer, who asks the player a logic riddle. If the player answers correctly, he allows him to pass, but if he fails the question, a battle ensues. Once he is defeated he will allow the player through.
The second wall is guarded by two trainers, who battle the player one after the other without a break if he fails the riddle. Likewise, the third wall is guarded by three trainers. Finally, after beating all the trainers or solving all the riddles, the player arrives at the gym leader.
Badge and TM: Shadow Badge, Shadow Blast (Dragon, 10PP, 110dmg, 30% any status, always hits, 10% recoil)
Gym Layout: A room that is jet black, and you can only move forward and forces you into battle and when you win, the colour will turn into lighter colour like blue, and this will happen through 10 matches, until it goes into normal colour and your rival challenges you and then he heals your pokemon and then all of the trainers move as the leader comes down on a lift.
Anything Else you want to add: To rematch him, you need to defeat the elite 4, then defeat all 8 gym leaders including his replacement until you can challenge the elite four and he is champ:
And for the final rematch, you must defeat all of the gym leaders and e4 and champ (he is no longer champ) and then you must obtain the three Regi's to summon Regigigas, which is the only 'mon to know a certain field move named Giga Slam (OHKO and can break through the wall on top of Rusturf Tunnel) so you can challenge the leader:
